Having lived with a hydrocele for many years with frequent aspirations, I decided to seek out a better urologist than those found in Hernando or Pasco Counties. Doctor Bukkapatnam is extremely busy. Office visits and even procedures are stacked on top of each other. While that was a concern, he was always attentive even taking time from a vacation day to come to the office due to a post-operation problem! (That's the sign of a caring doctor!!) The reason for his unscheduled visit was so see if the hydrocele had come back and why it continued bleeding internally. A second operation was scheduled but the issue resolved itself shortly thereafter. I not only recovered beautifully from the procedure but I am also presently free of a hydrocele. My mountain bike and I are happy once again! Yeah! Thank you, Dr. Bukka.

I called and no one answered. It was always a voicemail. I really needed a surgery performed. When someone finally called back. The assistance was very rude and didn’t try to talk to the doctor about my health before stating he couldn’t see me. The whole office is rude and don’t give the dr messages.

Usually when I go to his office, there is about a 20 minute wait. For the first time ever, I was 9 minutes late to his office. After spending 5 minutes on the phone check in thing, evidently I was too late for his comfort. I was told I needed to reschedule because I was late. Pretty outrageous. Will be finding another doctor who is more considerate of my time. I drove 45 minutes there, spent 5 minutes checking in, waited 10 minutes for them to call me to tell me to go away and reschedule. Another 45 minutes to go back home. I WILL NOT reschedule with him. Also, it's very important to note that the prescription I need from him cannot be filled without the office visit, so now my quality of life is negatively affected because I don't have the prescription medication that was very helpful in making me feel better each day. Unbelievable lack of consideration for the patient... because I was 9 minutes late. (And if I was on time, I probably would have been forced to wait for 20 minutes)

Dr, B., has been my urologist since I moved here 12 years ago. He has been nothing short of EXCELLENT...he listens, asks questions and gave me answers I could understand. He has had to operate several times ..EXCELLENT surgeon EXCELLENT results....both his bedside manner and follow up again are EXCELLENT.

Excellent Doctor and Surgeon his skills saved my life, he is genuine and easy to speak to. He listens and cares about your health and needs. I would highly recommend him to anyone with Urology issues.
