Unfriendly and dismissive
Dr Markson was mostly dismissive of my health concerns and seemed to want to do the bare minimum in providing my care. It felt like she simply wasn't interested or invested in my wellbeing or the information I was trying to share. Wouldn't recommend, especially if you have a complex medical history.

Couldnt recommend her less
I can't say enough bad things abour Dr. Markson. She overlooked my clear-cut signs of Lymphoma and focused on my slightly high cholesterol (i get a sense she has a fixation on weight). For months, I was in severe agony and would reach out through the medical portal only to be ignored. I had several appointments with her because i was only getting worse and they'd all end in a shrug from her and well wishes. Eventually, I fought to get a diagnosis elsewhere. Going to an appointment with her is like going to a coffee date with a friend— she's nice and young and absolutely was not paying attention to what I was telling her. Her 'lgbtq' friendly bio is nice and all, but what good does it do if she's not actually trying to help her patients?

i recommend dr markson
honestly were can i start dr markson is one of the best doctors i seen in my life helped me transition from peds to adults lgbtq friendly not ableist she is very understanding and very respectful unlike many doctors i seen she may seem like she barely has no experience because of her age but honestly she has better experience and knowledge on anything compared to many doctors and yes i understand shes a primary care physician and doctor but shes a person who will make sure your safe and accommodated on everything she has a good heart and person who cares about everyone no matter there trauma or past history or disability on anything she always asks for your preferred name and pronouns on the first appointment to make sure your never misgendered or misnamed she really cares and i always recommend her to people because not many feel safe with doctors but always felt safe or safer with her any complaints you have she will try her best to help and understand.

Unprofessional
I saw Dr.Markson last year. I have a lot of period pain and related health issues because of it. She only focused on my weight and BMI and wouldn't listen to why I wanted to do hormone testing. I felt very dismissed by her and had no confidence to continue on with the conversation after she chose to only focus on my weight and diet. She did push birth control which is basically what all docs who have no idea how to treat period related problems do. She is unprofessional; the staff was nice but long wait times.
