The MOST Pleasant experience
Today was my first appointment with Dr. Matute. The office is a bit old school - which I liked. When it was my turn to see the doctor, HE came out to the waiting room to get me. His demeanor and attitude puts you at ease immediately. He pulled up my details on his desktop and explained...and educated me on the workings of the kidneys and where I ranked within the ranges. He was professional and knowledgeable, and VERY FUNNY. It was, by far, the best experience I've ever had during a doctor appointment, and I left the appointment with full understanding of the issues and what to do before I see him next year.

Dr Matute was wonderful, from the minute he meets you till the end of your appointment,He explained everything and answered any questions I had. Never once rushed the appointment. He was so kind ,pleasant and put me at ease. I would highly recommend Dr Matute. Also his front staff Andy was so kind and pleasant. Looking forward to my follow up appointment.

I secured an appt w/in 3 days...(a new patient) & I waited in the office 15 minutes before being seen & loved the helpfulness of Andy at the front desk. Dr Matute's relaxed style made me feel comfortable & relieved immediately- his questions were relevant & review of my medical situation & paperwork led him to order the necessary tests & all in a timely manner. Dr. Matute is professional, amiable, intelligent, humble, & competent. So far I am extremely impressed with him and look forward to my next appt... to be continued.

Dr. Matute is great!!! He is kind, a good listener, thorough, explains things (like your condition) so that anyone can understand. He called us after my husband had labs done and called us at 7:00 PM to give us the results. I don't know of any other doctor that works after hours for his patients. He's a WONDERFUL CARING Doctor and recommend him 100%.
