Dr Hallock did my knee replacement in March and I am so happy with the results. Dr H and his staff gave me all the information I needed to make this decision and to prepare me for what to expect. The surgery and the recovery went smoothly with no complications. This was so much easier than I expected! Chris is an exceptional assistant and always responds quickly to any questions. This is an amazing team and he will be missed. Enjoy your retirement!

Total knee replacement
I had a total knee replacement on February 26, 2023. Dr. Hallock did a great job. I am three weeks post surgery, I have no complications. He is very attentive to my concerns. Chris his assistant nurse, promptly calls me back, with any questions I may have. Dr. Hallock has a great team with him He will be missed when he retires.

Visit with Dr. Hallock
I have had Dr. Hallock as an Orthopedic doctor for 31 plus years, first when he followed my two younger children for developmental concerns. And then shortly after that for treating problems with my knees and shoulders. He is the best. I am going to miss him as my doctor whenever he retires.

Excellent & Caring Surgeon
I have been a patient of OIP and Dr. Hallock for 15+ years. Just had my 2nd total knee replacement last month. Dr. Hallock is professional, but not stuffy, has a great sense of humor, and always makes me feel comfortable and reassured when making decisions abour treatment or surgery. Both knee replacements went well with no complications! Kudos to his assistant Chris, too. Any time I call in with questions or concerns, she gets right back to me with his answers.

A top doc!
I’ve seen Dr Hallock through the years at two offices in Hershey, one at outlets and more recently their new site in Hershey. He’s replaced two of my hips and two of my knees. One of the knees was a revision when the cement failed after 8 hrs. (That first knee was done by another doc.) I’m 78 now and all my knees and hips are still working just fine. Never had any unusual recovery issues. Have seen him for rotator cuff issues too. I feel he really cares about pts. and their pain. Plus I like his kind of dry humor.

I had both my knees replaced by Dr. Hallock & had no problems after. I was hesitant to get them done because I’ve heard other people (not his patients) saying their knees were still giving them problems. He is very personable & caring. Would recommend him to everyone!

A+ Bedside Manner
Although Dr. Hallock didn’t spend a lot of time with me, he did not leave my room until he knew I was comfortable with the answers to my questions and I was relaxed. Great sense of humor (or at least same sense of humor that I have.)

He was rude to me, indicating that it was my fault that I am still experiencing pain in my hip joint after 11 months because i am too heavy. I consider this to be a very unprofessional manner. I will never go back to see him.

Did not listen to what I had to say about where the pain was. Talked at me rather than to me. Did not give me a solution for the reason I came in. Wasted my valuable time and money. Will never go back to see him.
