The Best!
I meant Dr. Leone when they were bringing me off the Life Flight helicopter. He made me feel less scared about my CABG. Made me feel safer for having my surgery.

Dr. Leone performed lung surgery on my husband and my husband died 10 days later. I hardly saw Dr. Leone during those 10 days he never came to talk to me. After my husband died I did not hear from Dr. Leone either. I feel the bad after care that my husband received from Dr Leone is what caused his death. I had two other doctors review my husband’s medical records after his death and was told that Dr. Leone should never have performed surgery on my husband as he was not a candidate for surgery!

Dr. Leon is a nice, caring doctor able to explain relatively complex procedures in an understandable way. He is good at visiting patients in the hospital post-op. If I have any complaint, it is that I wish he had informed me that I had ended up with a fractured rib as a result of "rib spreading" during my surgery, before I sort of figured that out for myself. Still, it' only a minor complaint. Overall care was excellent.

Dr. Leone performed a multiple vessel bypass on my heart in 2008. I was out of the hospital quickly, had no infection or post surgery problems at all. He helped me avoid the heart attack. I have no restrictions and I now do 100 mile bicycle tours during the summer. He's obviously a skilled surgeon and I'd recommend him to anyone.
