I was referred to Dr. Parker after I had been dealing with a knee injury for approx 8 months. I finally convinced the prior ortho to do a CTA on me after she refused because she stated I had arthritis at the age of 35. The CTA revieled a possible partial ACL tear. Dr. Parker quickly examined me, my CTA and stated that the pain in my knee was from my autoimmune disease and that I needed to exercise more. He stated he knew a lot about my autoimmune disease and that even though I knew the pain was different I was wrong. I made an appointment with University Hospitals on my way home from my appointment with Dr. Parker. Two weeks later I saw a sports surgeon who stated he didnt think it was my ACL but did believe I had damage. I was in the OR less than a month later. I had severe cartilage damage and my medial meniscus flipped over my knee cap when I fell and it needed trimmed. I could of healed so much sooner if I didnt go to Dr. Parker or a CCF doctor in the first place. Dr. Parker blamed cartilage damage and a medial meniscus on my autoimmune disease.

I love Dr. Parker's calming, laid-back attitude he exhibited before, during and after my total knee replacement. He was kind, gentle and focused on my individual issues of, well, TERROR of surgery and being medicated! His assistant, Bridget, was right there with me and was as calming to me as he was. Can't forget his office manager (I cannot recall her name) who is so patient-friendly and professional. They make an extraordinary team!
