Operated and did not follow up after surgery. Never saw him or got a call after. Extremely unprofessional.

Dr. Rhodes is thorough and honest in his evaluations. He will not operate unless it is necessary. His patients recover quickly and well. His office at The Star treats Dallas Cowboys, too.

Awesome Doctor! Performed labrum surgery on my son and did an awesome job. Having a pain block and ice machine after surgery allowed him to get off all pain meds in four days. Smooth, Efficient Process! Highly recommend!

I absolutely love Dr. Rhodes! He did both my knee surgeries in 2011. After many years and tons of stress on the joints, a revision was needed. Dr. Rhodes did my revision yesterday and I am up and going in under 12 hours post op. Do I recommend Dr. Richard Rhodes? I drove back to Texas from Florida, just so he could perform the surgery. So yes absolutely! He is an amazing doctor. He will get you back on track! His bedside manner is friendly, compassionate and knowledgeable. He goes above and beyond for his patients and I’m so grateful for him. So many surgeons and in my opinion he is the best!

Please save yourself the time and headache from seeing this doctor. They are ill prepared at every appointment, leave patients waiting for hours on end, are rude and disorganized. They do not adhere to dates promised for billing for surgery. Dr. Rhodes bed side manner is also not good. In addition, Abbie the office manger is of no help. There are many physicians store choose from in Frisco. If you can’t be trusted with minor tasks, how could they replace your hip?!? Wow. F rating all around.

Before Dr Rhodes, had seen another knee doctor at a prestigious Dallas sports medicine clinic- a rough exam of my knee left me barely able to walk out of his office. He diagnosed a meniscus tear and surgery. He recommended an MRI, but I never got one- did not want to use that doctor. Dr Rhodes was the opposite- gentle exam, prescribed MRI. No jumping to a surgical solution until having the MRI results. He explained everything, no surgery needed, and prescribed therapy. Nice staff- very thankful

After 3 years of suffering with knee pain and swelling and having injections from 2 other specialists, I found Dr Rhodes. After careful examination and tests , he recommended a partial knee replacement. the surgery has been a tremendous success. I was off my walker and no longer needed assistance on day 10. What a blessing to have found such a skilled and caring surgeon with a staff of friendly and caring people.

Suffered a severe bimalleolar ankle fracture and Dr. Rhodes operated on me. He was excellent. My surgery was performed with precision. He took time to patiently answer all of my questions, gave careful guidance throughout my healing process, and I'm back running on trails today. Staff was compassionate, friendly, and very helpful whenever I needed anything. Very glad I went to Dr. Rhodes!

1st appointment - arrived 30 mins prior to scheduled time per office instructions. Taken back 15 mins after appointment. Sat there for 45mins before threatening to walk out. 2nd appointment - received call asking to move appt up because dr wanted afternoon off. 3rd appointment - they asked to reschedule, dr decided not to see anyone that day. After reschedule, received call to move new appt up for same reason. I couldn't, they rescheduled. I agreed. Next day, they asked to move one up!
