Lost my very active life.
Salib fused my S1L5 in my first surgery and after 6 weeks everything came loose according to Salib. He indicated a second surgery was necessary S1 L5L4 After the second surgery I was in a plastic brace for 6 months. Very restrictive but I used it as required. All has been down hill. My very active life went away 31 yrs ago. No thanks to Salib. In my mind he is a hack and would and I never ever refer him

I highly recommend Dr. Salib. I am 20 years post op from S1L5-L5L4 anterior/posterior fusion with bone graphs & caging. 4 years later he removed my hardware due to me taking 3 bad falls on ice and breaking the head of one of my screws. Dr. Salib explained everything on my level & didn't sugar coat anything. I had 2 annular severed disc's. He gave me different options along with the success rates & his opinion, needless to say, even though odds were against me I chose to spend the next 18 months trying band aid procedures trying to avoid the fusion. He was right from the start when he said they would only buy me time and that fusion would be my best chance. I thank him every day for giving me my life back. 20 years & still going strong without having to have any more levels done. He is the BEST!! Tami Granmo Puposky, Mn.

I highly recommend Dr. Salib for spinal issues . He has performed three surgeries on me from 2003 to 2018 . I have recovered extremely well from each surgery . He thoroughly explains each step of the process and recovery . I credit him with “giving me my life back three times “ ! I feel fortunate that our paths crossed when I really needed an expert to help . Many patients aren’t that lucky depending on which Doctor they entrust their care to . I have complete trust in his abilities !

Many lumber fusions performed by Richard Salib, MD. Kyphosis was built into the spine instead of lordosis. Leaving me with severe lifetime pain and permanently disabled. The fusions needed to be removed and redone by a super sub-specialist neurosurgeon who specializes in correcting other surgeons (failed surgeries) and sever cases. The corrections required an additional 5 surgeries and years of my life. This happened from the 1989 - 2003 Be forewarned.
