Dr. Topping provided immediate surgery for a traumatic fracture requiring total hip replacement and excellent post surgical care.

I had a knee replacement and didn’t have any trouble. Dr. Topping was friendly, caring and available if I needed him. I would highly recommend him for any surgery. I plan to have him replace the other knee after the first of the year.

Dr. Topping has replaced both hips for me. The first in 2015, the second in October 2021. I haven’t had any complications. He explained the surgery and what to expect during the recovery. He was recommended to me by my family Physician. I would recommend Dr. Topping and his staff for anyone needing a hip replacement.

Dr Topping pinned back together a multiple fracture of my ankle. They took the cast off yesterday. The ankle has healed "perfectly." Dr Topping is an engaging and competent physician.

Dr Topping did total knee replacement, and two total hip replacements, and 1 recontruction of hip...He is the best doc ever. spends time with you answers all questions. All replacements have lasted 15 plus years

Ten weeks ago I received a total hip replacement by Dr. Topping and the pain and discomfort that dominated my life are gone. The surgery went smoothly and took only 54 minutes. I’m well on the way back to being active and enjoying my former activities.

Dr. Topping has performed hip surgery on both my hips over the past couple of years. I am very pleased with the results and with the follow up visits. His staff is very friendly and professional, and try to answer all your questions.

I was very nervous prior to my surgery, after all hip replacement isn’t a simple procedure. When I woke up I could instantly feel relief from my hip pain! I will probably need my other hip done in the future, & I will definitely be returning to Dr Topping & staff! I have told my friends & family how great they are!

Hip replacement 9/1/20-Dr. Topping excelled at knowing my patient needs/expectations through relaxed conversation and produced a verbal and written comprehensive protocol for my hip surgery which incorporated pre admissions process- surgery(pre/post)-recovery and follow up time-p.t. Recommendations-basic home modifications-dressing observation-detailed drug and vitamin instructions and numerous simple/complex medical needs———thanks to Dr. Topping and his trained stall I look forward to a grands college graduation in the spring-golf- biking-volunteering at DMC— and certainly breakfast in bed for my wife—-life @ 83 is “never better!!”

I had a total knee replacement on June 24,2020. Dr. Topping fully informed me of how procedure would go and the recovery after. Was always available to answer questions/ concerns. Procedure went very well and will have him do the other knee at a later time. Highly recommend him to anyone planning on having this procedure.

I had been putting off hip replacement for about a year. When the pain finally got the best of me, I knew I wanted to stay close to home for the surgery and found many people who recommended Dr. Topping. As this would be my first surgery as well as my first hospital stay ever, I found him and his assistants to be extremely sympathetic and kind. They explained what to expect during and after surgery and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. My recovery has gone extremely well.

I had been struggling with a bad hip for years to the point of loosing my mobility and being in constant pain. Dr Topping performed a THR and I had no hip pain right after surgery. Just had a total right knee replacement done. Very pleased with Dr. Topping Jr and his staff, they are all very attentive, make sure they answer all your questions, and explain everything for you so there are no surprises. As soon as my knee is completely healed I plan on having my left knee replacement done next.

He was great during surgery.visited with the family before surgery,and immediately after surgery to let us know how things went. He sits and listens to every concern you have and answers all questions. I had rotor cuff surgery, would go back to him anytime I have another problem. He does excellent work , I did as he told me and I had great recovery. Have already recommended him to a few of my friends.

I like the way Dr Topping talks you through the procedure (in my case a knee replacement), explaining each step plus what to expect before ,during and after, and makes it easier to make the decisions that must be made. Time is taken to answer all questions. I recommend him.
