Dr. Robert Bartelt, MD

Dr. Bartelt performed a total knee replacement on my left knee a couple of years ago. Did an excellent job. No residual pain or discomfort. Recently returned to have him examine my right knee. Always professional, friendly, and informative. Highly recommend Dr. Bartelt.

I had surgery, I had a lot of problems with the pain medication! The office was very efficient in returning my calls, and helping me! Everyone was kind and helpful!

Dr. is so good. Man the shot in my knee each 4 months has saved me from alot of pain. I have had to ask specifically to see him at this point. His help is very nice, but he seems to be the only one that can get the injection in the right place to relieve my pain. I know the shots won't help and I will have to explore replacement. Won't blink an eye if Dr. Bartelt does it.

Very knowledgeable & on time. Pleasant and professional bedside manner. Excellent outcome on surgery. Walked right after surgery. Not that much pain if you keep ontop of pain meds. Would highly recommend Dr. Bartelt.

I was able to get an appointment quickly for a cortisone injection to my knee which was really helpful given my busy schedule. Dr Bartelt has done a great job discussing options with me. I know I need a knee replacement but have never felt pressured to have surgery sooner than I am ready to. Would also say he has been much more personable over the last year which really has helped to decrease my anxiety about future surgery.

Fell with fracture to wrist, referred to Bartlet by my local physician. 3 visits with xrays each visit. Wore brace for 4 or 5 weeks while healing. No surgery required. Released from his care.

Dr.Bartel answered all our questions and we never felt rushed. He was caring and concerned with my condition and set me up with what I needed right away!

Dr Bartelt is straight forward which I like in a Dr. He answered the questions that I had. The rest of the staff has been extremely accommodating as well. Would highly recommend.

Dr. Bartelt took time listen to my concerns and answered my questions. Dr. Bartelt and his staff were extremely friendly, and professional. They have a state of the art facility that allows you to have x-rays, have a cast placed and receive physical therapy all in one location. I was very impressed.

Have had hip and back issues recently. Dr. Bartelt was able to diagnose and offer a good treatment plan. Very helpful consultation and good communication to deal with the issue.

Condescending. Impatient. Dismissive. Told a nurse my mother uncooperative because we had questions regarding a total knee replacement. When we asked about after surgery therapy, he gave us a website & told us he has clinic patients waiting. Then left. Office staff, especially the office manager, are the rudest anyone in my family have ever dealt with in any customer service capacity. We caught them in a lie about passing on a message to my mother's doctor's nurse practitioner. Instead of apologizing, they hung up on us.

Everything went well today and I would recommend him anytime. The nurses were great

Great dr. Listened to what I had to say. Addressed my concern immediately. Explained everything. Said to get in touch with him if I need to before my next appointment. Very caring dr. Would recommend him to everyone. In fact I have told a few people already. I'm impressed by this dr.

Dr. Bartelt takes time to explain options and create a plan based on personal preference. Very honest about outcomes.

Not sure what to say. I'm sure he has skill. I broke my leg near the knee in early December 2018. Was referred to this doctor by an area hospital. All along the way, it's as if he never really listened to a word I said. My wife said the same thing. Maybe we just didn't jibe somehow. I tried to get him to realize that while I'd sitting most of the days while my leg healed, I'd get no exercise and thus gain weight, making recovery even harder. No acknowledgement of that. He asked me if I'd need to miss work and I fully explained that I had forfeited my job due to a stroke 2 years prior and was now retired and on disability. Due primarily to the weight gain my knee still isn't healed totally. Released me back to work from a job I don't have. Cost me even more money due to lost disability through work. If I have to do this correctly in a few months, I'll select a different area Orthopedic surgeon. Bottom line for me, I've seen this before and I should have headed for the exit.

We had a visit for a hip click in my newborn. Dr Bartelt was very professional and thorough.
