Not a fan. Removed my appendix. I complained to him serval times that I had a UTI. Kept dismissing me. UTI got so bad that I had to go back to ER. He definitely did not listen to me ( I was correct, It was a UTI. )bed side manners were non existent.

I needed a Whipple Procedure, Dr Davidson took my case, and I'm glad he did. Surgery went wonderful and he was very caring, I couldn't have asked for better care, before during or after the surgery. I highly recommend this surgeon!

I took my 93 year old mother for a consult on 5/6/2020 with Dr. Davidson. Imagine my shock when this office had absolutely zero protocols in place for Covid-19. There was no spacing of chairs, no one checking temperatures or asking questions, only one staff member wearing a mask. When I questioned the staff member that took us in why they weren’t wearing masks, she said, ‘I am exposed to everything, would you like me to put one on’? I advised yes, she did not comply. I did ask that Dr. Davidson wear one, and he did, no gloves. He was extremely put out when I asked how in the world could a medical practice NOT have any safety measures in place. He had no answers. We should have left immediately, but my mom was in pain and needed to be seen.  I would never ever recommend this MD, his colleagues or this office for anything. Had he thought surgery was necessary, I can guarantee he would not have done it.  I did file a claim against him with the state department of health.

I went to my appointment expecting a consultation regarding a possible surgery. Happy day for me. He was able to take care of my "problem" without surgery. I found him to be pleasant and professional. I hope I don't have to go back, but if needed I would not hesitate to see him again.

Horrible person. My wife and I are gay. He refused to acknowledge me as the next of kin. He would only speak to my mother in law after my wife's surgery. I will never recommend him.

I had skin cancer over an area that had had 3 major surgeries for breast cancer plus radiation Dr. Davidson successfully removed the skin cancer and left the site greatly improved cosmetically. Pre-op planning by Dr. Davidson and his staff eliminated potential adverse situations caused by a pacemaker and a recent illness. The surgery and recovery were remarkably painless. I can recommend Dr. Davidson with full confidence.

I've just had a wonderful experience with Dr. Robert Davidson. He is an excellent doctor. He's very personable, caring and extremely professional. His staff is wonderful as well. He performed a laparoscopy on me to remove an IUD and make sure my organs weren't damaged and although I was frightened about having a surgery, he made me feel safe and confident he'd take care of me. He spoke to me and my husband about the procedure and outcome on a very caring way. I highly recommend Dr. Davidson.

Horrible experience!!! Stay away from Dr. Davidson!!! Horrible bedside manor, talks down to his patients like they are dumb. Went in for hernia surgery at Mease Countryside and left with a nice big scar and still have my hernia. Confronted him and the office manager about it and they want me to pay out of pocket for another surgery after he admittedly may have missed my hernia. Really??? No thanks, I'll have a real reputable surgeon do it next time.

Excellent Surgeon. Woke up from surgery and recovery nurse was on the phone with doctor Davidson asking - how did you do that without a midline (large) incision. That made me feel good, highly recommend Dr. Davidson.

Dr. Davidson was most helpful and informative both in his office and at the hospital. He took the to explain everything in great detail, and answer any questions that we had. Besides being an excellent surgeon, he is very personable, and easy to communicate with. I would recommend him to anyone.

No bedside manners, extremely rude. On the day of a minor outpatient skin surgery, he was very condescending. He decided to take out only one nodule out of 2. He asked to schedule a second surgical appointment for the other. Highly unethical .. would never go. I should have walked out right away prior to the procedure.
