Dr. Rothen took care of my post op from a knee surgery (quadriceps rupture repair) that took place out of state just before I moved to WV. A year later she repaired my rotator cuff. Very pleased with her abilities, professionalism, and bedside manner. A quality doctor that cares.

I would recommend Dr. Rothen for shoulder injuries. She took her time, answered all my questions, and got me back "in the game." The staff is friendly as well, I watched them help an elderly man fill out his information on an IPad. That was above and beyond... Thank you Dr. Rothen and Centers for Advanced Orthopedics.

Dr. Rothen is hands down the best medical professional I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. She's very kind & caring in her approach. Her medical knowledge far exceeds orthopaedics. She's all about management & treatment before surgery. My Rotator Cuff repair from 2014 has held up beautifully. I'm hard on my body & am planning on further joint repairs in the coming years. Rest assured that when surgery is needed, your outcome with her will be as good as it get!

I visited Dr. Rothen for removal of a large cyst that formed directly over a scar from a surgery 20 years earlier. Many others had concerns that my scarring might cause problems with it's removal. Dr. Rothen eliminated the concerns (X-rays, MRI, etc.), and explained any potential issues before it's removal, surgically. She even had the courtesy to connect the new (future) scar to my previous one to minimize its appearance. She was very thorough, took the time to listen to my questions and address each one, and my recovery was swift and for the most part, painless. She offered PT, if needed; ultimately it was not necessary and I returned to full range of motion within a few weeks. Last fall I had pain in the opposite shoulder and returned to her. She debrided my shoulder and again, I had a swift recovery. She is an excellent surgeon, communicates well with patients, and is professional while remaining friendly and compassionate. I'm grateful to have found her; thank you Dr. Rothen!

I have been seeing Dr Rothen for a number of years. She is very good at what she does and very prosessonal. She did surgery for a rotor cuff repair on my right shoulder and I did really well. I have been back to see her many times. She has always been very kind and takes her time with me and answers all my questions.

Dr. Rothen has been a life saver. She has helped me through 2 frozen shoulders, and one ruptured tendon. She is not only knowledgeable, but takes the time to "dumb it down" to make sure I understand what is wrong or being done to me. She provides a full range of options for treatments, letting me know that I do have choices. She never rushes my appointment, even when she is falling behind because of patient load. She takes the time to actually listen to me. I trust her completly!

She put my shoulder back together and it's still working fine. Two other surgeons tried my other one and both flunked. The last one I told to do it Dr. Rothen's way and he IGNORED me. During therapy almost all his repairs failed. I had moved from MD to MA or I would have gone back to Dr. Rothen in a heartbeat.
