Dr. Ronnie Swain, MD

I went to see Dr. Swain because I could not breath. I told him my symptoms over several visits. Did all the pre-op, and had the surgery. Now I am 100% worse, and when I told him on my follow up visit of the issues I was still having. His words to me were 'you said the magic words, you need an implant'. Those were the same words used on ALL my visits why did you do surgery and not give me an implant if that is what I needed. Horrible recovery, and all to be in worse shape than when I started. Not to mention the random bump of skin the added inside my very small nasal canal making a much more restricted airway.

After waiting 1.5 hours to be seen, I was finally taken to the back. I quickly explained my issues, and that my previous doctor (who retired from her location) recommended imaging as the next step. And that my records were supposed to be sent over as I signed a release.Dr Swain informed me that my records hadn't been sent over, and that there was nothing visibly wrong with my ear, so I would need to do an audiology. I informed him that I have already done audiology, which should be in my records, and my hearing is perfect. He became very argumentative saying that he couldn't order imaging, since there was nothing wrong with my ear and that he would need to repeat the audiology. I asked if he could simply call my previous doctor to have the records sent over as I signed the release, since there is nothing wrong with my hearing.He then lost it on me, stormed off and yelled to the nurse that I was 'released from his care' and that 'she could waive my co-pay.' I left in tears.

He is good in every area that was needed for my problem. I was able to aloud him to do what he had to do with Treatment required. The best doctor I have every dealt with yet. Thank you doctor.

My 2 yo son and I both had an appointment. Dr. Swain fully addressed all issues between the both of us and was able to do a procedure on me to remedy the issues I’d been having with my ears. I’m happy to have found him after trying unsuccessfully a couple of times to replace my well loved but retired ENT doctor. I highly recommend that you try Dr. Swain. A plus for parents.... he has privileges to operate and round at USA Children’s and Women’s and not many private practice doctors have this.

Promptly seen. Dr. Swain is caring, warm and professional. Explains things very thoroughly and in an understandable manner. Highly competent, open to questions and gives thorough answers. Very professional.

Dr. Swain is the MD my Graves' Disease specialist called in for complex surgeries. The first one in 2016, Dr. Swain and Dr. Mark Brown restored vision to my right which was blind by the time I found these talented professionals. Four years and four surgeries later, I can see at 20/20 in full color and my eyes look great. The first surgery restored vision and the rest adjusted eyeballs to stop protruding and tweaked my lids to fit again, stopping the dry eye problems. I am 67 and camping/hiking off-grid again and driving - life is good. Throughout it all, Dr. Swain was a kind, thoughtful caring provider with a bunch of cool sounding technologies like 3-D Mapping which he uses to guide his work. He's an excellent Dr. He was running a little behind, but he was kind enough to stop by my room to let me know that he would be with me shortly. Made me feel better about having to wait Also took time to explain everything to me.

Dr. Swain is an extremely knowledgeable, efficient, and personable doctor. He has performed 2 sinus surgeries on me personally with fantastic results! I would highly recommend him to anyone with any ear, nose, or throat issues but particularly sinus problems. I consider him a great diagnostician and surgeon.

I could not breath through my nose at all and had no sense of smell. Dr. Swain quickly diagnosed my condition and immediately scheduled the services I needed to help me get better. He did surgery to remove a large number of polyps and a bone spur, and corrected my deviated septum. Surgery was a huge success. I recovered easily and now can breath through my nose, wear my cpap mask, and have regained my sense of smell! Thank you Dr. Swain and Thank you to his wonderful nurses and staff!

We love Dr Swain Jr & his staff. Dr Swain Jr is great with my 5 yo & the staff is always kind, quick to get us back. My daughter has had 3 sets of tubes & Dr Swain Jr has done all 3 & we have had no problems since. He & staff are very caring & professional. Would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr Swain was very thorough and concerned for my care. The office staff was efficient and friendly.

Dr Swain always has time to listen and answer all of our questions. His nurses are extremely responsive and very well evaluate our needs before determining if and how to work us in. We are very fortunate to have Dr Swain and his staff taking care of our toddler.
