Dr. Rory Fry, MD

Dr. Fry has great positive energy. I felt comfortable with him from the moment he walked into the exam room at our first meeting. He spent time getting to know me and my health concerns, listened to my story and provided explanations that made sense to me. I feel like I have a partner in my healthcare, that we are truly a team, not him simply telling me what to do. This attitude and approach helps me to engage more readily in my own care. He does not shame me but motivates me to make the necessary goals and changes to improve my health situation.

Dr. Fry took the time and explained the options for my care in detail leaving the final decision for my care in my hands. Dr. Fry and Prevea has exceeded my expectation in health care.

Dr. Fry takes time to listen to the reason for the visit. He explains things in simple terms and makes sure he has addressed all concerns before ending the visit. Dr. Fry is very knowledgeable, understanding and easy to talk with.

My provider was out of the office this week, and when asked to sign my temp handicapped parking form, Dr. Fry said it could wait until next week Tuesday when my provider returns. I am a terminal lung disease patient down in FL w multiple appts per wk at Mayo Jacksonville, and I am by myself, so I do not have someone who can drop me off at the door. I am on 11L of oxygen, and even on that my walking is very limited. Having my temp handicapped parking pass renewed is very important, and it already will take some time due to the WI DMV having to mail it to me in FL. Had Dr. Fry signed it, he could have shaved a week off of my wait time to receive it, as my current tag expires today. He was well aware of this, my oxygen needs (11-26L), & my very limited function, but he still thought to himself, no big deal, this patient can wait. Meanwhile, I now I have to figure out how to find help to walk to my MD appt tomorrow. At least Dr. Fry is honest about his apathy toward patients.

I really enjoyed meeting my new PCP, very helpful and knowledgeable.
