Dr. Terry is very through and fully explains everything before surgery and is very caring during follow-up visits. He makes sure to explain everything involved in great deal. Bedside manner is excellent. I would highly recommend him . The staff is very caring and never makes you feel you are a bother.

Won’t go anywhere else
I have had all my orthopedic surgeries done by Dr Terry. I even travel 1.5 hours now to see him. He has fixed my broken ankle, both TKRs and my shoulder muscle repair and a shoulder replacement. He also fixed my quad tendon. He even treated my children. I will always choose Dr Terry

doctor with a God complex problem
Dr. Terry was forced upon our family when my mother fell and was taken to the hospital in Lebanon. My mother severely broke her humorous bone and needed surgery. Despite multiple requests Dr. Terry refused to speak to us before the surgery. He deemed himself to be the best person to make all decisions and refused to speak to us like intelligent human beings. He could not have been less helpful. He was extremely rude during every encounter after surgery and repeatedly gave contradicting information. When questioned about post hospital care he was more concerned with asserting his authority then helping my mother. He repeatedly announced that, 'He was the boss!' I've been with my 76 year old mother through many surgeries and have never had to put up with such a horrible doctor. Stay clear of this one.

Unbelievable and inhumane
I had a tkr a yr ago and I have never recovered, something is terribly wrong and NO ONE would listen to me, I have never felt as disregarded as a human being in my life! Dr. Terry fell asleep during ALL my f/u appts and only offered amputation as a solution anytime I would say that something wasn't right and he was SERIOUS! My family nor myself never saw him before or after surgery, I am 46 and left crippled and can barely walk straight, my leg is unstable, in excruciating pain, gives out and I fall several times a day even after all the work and therapy I have put in trying to get it better but you know when something is right. I would not recommend this Dr or associates to anyone and wish I'd never met them. I wish I didn't have to leave a review like this but my life and health had been turned upside down from him and Highpoint Orthopedics as a whole for protecting this behavior from a surgeon.

My right leg overlapped my left leg it was so crooked , but thanks to Dr.Terry my leg is as srtaight as my left leg . Deeply Blessed for what he did for my leg !!

Dr. Terry and his staff are very knowledgeable, patient and explains anything you may not understand. I would recommend Dr. Terry because he listens to what you are saying... Unlike many doctors I have seen in the past.

I saw Dr Terry because of a wrist fracture. I went to his office for several visits and never saw him, just Samantha. My left wrist healed crooked and it is painful and there is nothing that can be done except to re-break it or surgery. Neither one is acceptable But I will say this, I have never seen such disorganization and chaos in one office in my life. Everyone was running around like a chicken with their head cut off. This is not just once, it was every time

Dr. Terry is a great doctor. It is very rare to find a doctor who will take the time to sit and talk to you and actually act like they care about you as a person. Dr. Terry has a really big heart. I would highly recommend him. I was sitting outside his office and saw him come out and wheel a man who was handicapped up a big hill to the e.r. He did not act his nurse to do it but did it himself. I thought that was really sweet and caring. He has a huge heart and really cares about his patients. The staff is always very friendly to me also. I give him 5 stars.

Dr Terry tended to me during the time he was having relationship problems with a wife. He insisted on a surgical procedure which contradicted the recomendations of multiple much more experienced and accomplished orthopedic surgeons. I refused and demanded to be discharged. The hospital and all other providers involed withdrew their demands for payment once the issues had been presented and proof provided. Dr. Terry refused and was finally forced to withdraw his absurd demand for payment. Maybe he has become a better human by now but, that isn't anything I'd bet on and not anything I'd chance.

Ok surgeon, complete wimp about pain control. He has evidently a magic number in mind that is the amount of time it will take to get to the point that pain relief is no longer necessary which he won't tell you beforehand and won't continue pain management beyond his present timeframe regardless of the individual case, so if he operates on you, be prepared to hurt without relief.

As far as a person I think the world of him. I had surgery on my left knee via the scope. Did not help at all. So 4 months later I had to have a knee replacement done. Was hoping for a total replacement but he said because of my age he really didn't want to do a total replacement. So then 2 months after the partial replacement I had to go through the pain of a total knee replacement on the same knee. Then a year and a half I was scheduled for my 4th left knee surgery which I backed out of.

At first he seemed like he cared and understood everything about my condition...3 months later he lets me know one of the screws have broke in my foot and the plate is bent and will after time come out thru my skin. He gave me 3 options, to live with it the way it is, fuse my foot to my ankle, or three take my foot off, none of these were any options to me, he also acted like he was angry when I went back for my last visit and my foot is still swollen..I would not recommend him to anyone

Dr Terry treated me in the emergency room for a compound fracture with 4 broken bones. Creamy initially I was very happy with him and he seemed very thorough. As follow-up visits went by I did not feel as though I was getting the information for the next steps of where I needed to be. For instance he never mentioned therapy at all. I was on pain medication for some time and then he took me off point blank with no reduction of pain medication. His nurse can be rude and doesn't get answers for u

About Me

care philosophy

I have tried to have patients feel the service and care they receive is reflective of the same type of concern I would try to provide to my family. I enjoy patients and family feeling comfortable in asking questions regarding their care as well as enjoying a laugh or smile together.
