Dr Fitzwater was very professional and caring! I had an emergency situation and he was very reassuring before I went into surgery, Highly recommend him to anyone.

Existing patient for kidney stones. Called due to attack, staff said some would call me back. After three days and two more calls while squirming on the floor in pain went to Thomas er instead and was treated. Scheduled follow up , with fitzwater staff, was told no reason to but I insisted. Appointment has been rescheduled by their office three times and 7 months later was finally seen. Elapsed time was 12 minutes. I expressed my concerns with the no call was told it was camc fault as he has no control over staff. Questioned rescheduling , same answer. No ownership no empathy for situation. I would like to think that feedback made in person to dr fitzwater would enact something type of change but this has not been the case. Dr fitzwater really seems knowledgeable but something is wrong at this facility.

you think this doctor would care about his reviews instead of telling a patient not to have her sister call anymore. i have power of attorney for my sister so looks like he would want to know why he got a bad review you know i happen to be educated when it comes to doctors so eould be interested in my reviews

I nearly went septic from a UTI, because Dr. Fitzwater would not give me antibiotics. I had to go to Urgent Care and they immediately gave me antibiotics. I called to change Doctor's and they tried to blame the staff for it.

You cannot get a phone call to speak to anyone, always (with a few exceptions) goes to voice mail.....and that is not looked at until the next day, and sometime you don't get a call back. VERY BAD phone system, Dr. Fitzwater is a very good doctor to be saddled with this early 1980's phone system

I would not recommend this physician based almost solely on his office staff/environment. After contacting this office for an appointment initially I was told I would receive a call that evening. That call came a few weeks later. The environment there during my appointment in my opinion was one of being strictly a number. I was ordered to have a c.t. scan for further evaluation. That order was not placed by the office staff. When I found this out a few weeks later I was told by them that the order had been cancelled for some reason. I happen to know for almost a certainty (inside sources) that the order was indeed never placed. So my follow up appointment was delayed with instructions after my c.t. scan to call back for an appointment which was cancelled due to a non-order by them. When I completed my c.t. scan I called back and was told I couldn’t be worked in for months. So I was told that they would call me a week later on Mon/Tues in order to work in. No call. I won’t return there.

My appointment was at 2 and I wasn’t seen till after 3. I had a second opinion and after hearing about the procedures he wanted to do. The second doctor said everything was fine and there’s no need to perform a biopsy. I will not return.

Dr. Fitzwater seems to be very good but has a bad habit of telling patients we will get it done in about a week, even when he has to finish a procedure he started. Also his staff is really bad about answering questions and calling the patient back to address the issues. Hopefully I will be back with my normal urologist soon.
