Dr. McKenna and his wonderful staff are helping with my dad's shoulder pain. Dr. McKenna is a kind and caring physician. He takes the time to listen to his patients and makes them feel heard. He got my dad into the clinic quickly. The trigger point injections have helped my dad tremendously.

I have never been treated more disrespectfully by a healthcare “professional” than by Dr. McKenna’s assistant, Mary. I had never met her when she came into the treatment room, accusing me of lying about a mix-up at my pharmacy on filling a prescribed medication. Then she berated me for taking medication in the first place, even though I’ve been dealing with chronic back pain for over twenty years. Additionally, she stated that all my previous doctors had basically been “bad doctors” for prescribing any of my medications. There was no explanation of my MRI findings; rather, she just started telling me about a procedure that Dr. McKenna would do on my back. When I stated that I wasn’t sure I was ready for this procedure, she threw off her exam gloves and stomped out of the room, leaving me in tears. I have been dealing with a flare-up, and if I had been treated like a human being, I might have scheduled with McKenna. But I cannot tolerate his PA, so I have taken my back care elsewhere.
