My husband was diagnosed with prostrate cancer in August by this Doctor. It is now January and we still don’t have a plan of treatment. Communication with this Doctor and most of his staff is poor. Scheduling time for procedures is extremely poor. We can read reports online days before the Doctor responds. It seems he may be a very knowledgeable Doctor but way too busy or has a lack of empathy. Choose someone else.

Dr. Deem performed a late evening emergency surgery on me for a large kidney stone complicated by pyelonephritis and danger of sepsis. I could not be more pleased with his compassion, care, and professionalism. He is very easy to talk to and patiently answered all of my questions. I am scheduled for a followup procedure in a few weeks, and I am confident that I will once again receive excellent care.

On Wednesday, May 3rd, 2017, I had to be seen in the E.R. at C.A.M.C. Memorial Hospital by Dr. Deem for a very rare, embarrassing, and physically "sensitive" situation. Dr. Deem and his team weren't freaked out about it or judgemental in the least bit. They were very kind and accepting of my predicament (along with being completely professional and willing to resolve my issue in the safest way possible). He had me on my way home about five hours later. He is the best!
