Dr. Samuel Hand, MD

I’m my opinion, Sam Hand is an unskilled psychiatrist who sat in judgment of me every time we met. He is arrogant and I always felt like he was talking down to me rather than providing any, even vaguely helpful therapy. Being depressed, I had lost my appetite and consequently lost weight. He told me that he wouldn’t release me from the hospital until I had gained 50 pounds! I had to force so much food down because if I didn’t I was threatened to have a feeding tube put in me. He insisted that I was suicidal, despite my trying to tell him I’d never do something so selfish as to hurt my children. Even my husband didn’t agree with this assessment he made. I wouldn’t wish this “doctor?” on my worst enemy.
