Saw Dr. Korbe in Tulsa on 1/30/2025. He was right on time, friendly and professional. The same is true of his staff. Dr. Korbe explained the procedure, listened to my concerns and implemented my specfic requests. I will certainly ask for him in the future.

This is one of the best doctors you will find. I have had him and his PA on my team for while now. For me to keep a doctor they must be highly professional. Some others include Dr. Mark Galles, Dr. Webb, Dr. Cannon and ect.

Worst pain management dr around
This dr gave me injections in the lower back after three days of him giving me the injections i was septic and put in the hospital for six months i was in and out of the hospital had a picc line for six months then when i seen him he accused me of giving myself a infection then told me of I wouldn’t allow him to give me more injections then he wouldn’t refill my pain meds then he tried to accuse me of taking a different medication that i never took he just didnt want to see me anymore because I wasn’t going to allow him to give me anymore injections. He wouldn’t listen to anything i had to say, wouldn’t answer my question and i would wait in the room for over an hr.

Very dismissive manner and rushing the appointment
Unfortunately, this doctor probably schedules too many appointments, so when he sees you, he rushes and will not thoroughly listen. He appears not interested in what has been working for you, the one dealing with the pain or how it disrupts your life, he wants to change your treatment in a way that makes him feel comfortable. I feel he “judges” those in chronic pain, which is why he appears uncaring as to what has been working for you as the patient dealing with the pain. I thought the patient’s health, continued ability to function in less pain and well being were a priority when going to a pain management specialist.

Pleasantly Surprised
Got my first back shot, declined the IV sedation. Dr Korbe was patient answering all my questions, put me at ease, we even talked about golf as he played collegiately. The procedure was no worse than getting a flu shot. The staff was first rate also.

Dr Korbe's PA, Wendy, was great.
I have had so many health issues. I am 73 years old. I have Parkinson's, and bladder cancer. I also have hydrocephalus and peripheral neuropathy. I had two surgeries in the last 2 months. When I tell my neurologist and all my other doctors they say talk to your pain doc. Wendy was great. She reviewed my records. I told her I did not want opioids. She scheduled a shot in my tailbone, which has been extremely painful. She seemed to really care.

Absolutely worst Dr. in Tulsa
Like all the other reviews on here Dr. Korbe has zero bedside manners, all he cares about is get in and get out to get his money for doing absolutely nothing!!! I seen him several times stretched, I have 7 bulging disc and he refuses to give me anything for the pain just recommends over the counter meds. Why am I paying him to recommend something that doesn’t work, and I didn’t need him to get. Not once did he done any kind of exam on me, recommend any kind of treatment, or recommend sending me to see anyone else, he seemed completely put off by questions or any kind of small talk. The only thing this man is interested in is money. Please please please do not see this Dr. he took an oath of do no harm when he became a Dr. and I’m sorry leaving someone in extreme pain is mental harm (which in some people could lead them to actually doing fatal harm to themselves to get away from the pain), and allowing patients to remain in pain is doing physical harm over time by doing nothing.

Personally, my experience with Dr. Korbe was that he seemed rushed to get out of the room. I aired a few worries of mine and it seemed to fall on deaf ears.

He was disinterested, and dismissive. I felt like I wasn’t being heard. He was passive aggressive and had no bedside manner. He was in and out when we met. When I read my after visit notes online, I saw that he notated a discussion we never had. I asked why he would write a note that wasn’t true and he said “it was an accident.” He corrected the note. After this incident, I do not trust him. If you notate a chart to make yourself look better and lying is the cost- I can’t have you as my provider.

My first appointment with Dr. Korbe I was 11 minutes late and was told they have a strict 10 minute policy. I was on crutches with a broken foot and had to find parking in the parking garage and explained this but he refused to see me. The second appointment Dr. Korbe didn’t take ANY time to listen to me at all, he didn’t review any of my paperwork with me or go over my history and there was no physical exam done. In fact he acted like he was put out just by me being there, very poor bedside manner. It was a complete waste of time.
