Dr. Sandra Tatro, MD

Dr. Tatro comes across as uneducated or knowledgeable when asked questions and has a total lack of communication skills. My first observation is that she didnt not wash or clean her hands in any way when entering the room which is a no-no. She contradicted herself numerous times during our visit. When questioned about her blatant contradictions she became defensive and rude and made backhanded comments about the patients weight. I work in the medical field and our visit felt like it came straight from the 'what not to do' examples we are shown in our learning modules. Her actions and lack of knowledge - and inability to admit if she doesn't know the answer to something - can be dangerous in a patient care setting. Someone asking a question is not an insult - patients should be able to ask their surgeon questions about their healthcare and procedure without backlash. We're educating ourselves - which is something she needs to spend some time doing. BEWARE.

Had lumpectomy. Thought she was good at description of procedure.
