Visit was fast & what I considered no beside manner. I wanted my placard renewed & was told they “don’t do that”, even though I’m a fall risk & my knee gives out, had an injury and it is really weak. But didn’t ask me anything, just wanted to prescribe me meds & physical therapy. I don’t take meds because I only have 1 kidney, so I deal with the pain. Wish his PA was the actual Doctor.

Very professional and highly skilled. They don't push for surgery unless it is necessary.

Dr. Shukla and his PA, Davis Ayers, carefully explained the procedures they planned to perform. They are knowledgeable and up to date in their specialty fields. I am a physician myself and would highly recommend them.

I m currently on my way to my second knee replacement. Dr Shukla has been great. He is very patient at the dr visit. He takes as much time as you need to answer your questions. He came highly recommended to me and I’m very satisfied to have him as my doctor.

I am currently in the process of scheduling hip replacement for my left hip, which will more than likely occur this summer of 2024. PA Davis Ayres, and Dr. Shukla are both amazing people. Personally, was very grateful for the way Davis literally talked through the entire surgical procedure, which was very helpful for me to just get an image in my mind of what was going to happen. Both Davis and Dr. Shukla answered all of my questions, and were very personable, While my visits have been less than half an hour, with each of them, I feel totally respected and very secure in being in their care. As others have mentioned, the entire ROC team from admitting to x-ray to scheduling are absolutely incredible. We are very blessed to have this organization in our local community!

Total knee replacement is a journey… I was an active 63 year old. My journey started with a bone on bone knee and the need of a good surgeon; I found one with Dr Shukla. It moved from his incredible talent in surgery, to his team in post op, then to the physical therapists at the ROC. Then it fell to me…. If I can offer any advice on your journey; Do what they tell you, the surgeon, the nurses, the therapist.… put in the work. As they told me in a pre-surgery session, ‘Make the knee work for you, not the other way around’. Did it hurt, yes…. Did I not sleep well for over a month, yes. Can I (a now active 64 year old) do the things now that hurt me before surgery without pain, Yes! The journey starts with a good surgeon.Thank you Dr Shukla

Dr. Shukla is a great orthopedic doctor. He did my 1st knee replacement in 2022. I needed another knee replacement on my other knee, and he did a fantastic job on that one two. He is kind, patient and will answer all your questions before you decide on what you would like to do. Dr. Shukla and Dr. Ayers are a great team. I highly recommend and have too many of my friends.

I recently had two titanium total hip replacement surgeries performed by Dr Shukla and Davis Ayres PA. All I can say is that this team is incredible. Both of my surgeries went smooth as silk. I am still going through physical therapy for my second surgery but feel fantastic. Recovery time is very short. About three days and I was walking without a walker or cane. The only drawback I have is that I didn’t have these guys do my surgeries about 5 years ago. Thank you Dr Shukla and Davis for your outstanding professionalism and knowledge when it comes to total hip replacement surgery. You guys rock!

Dr. Shulka & Davis Ayers provide the BEST medical care. They both are knowledgeable & professional. They take time to explain things & are not in a rush to service other patients. Everyone from parking assistants, check-in, X-rays & scheduling provides the best care & services. I wish other medical offices were like the ROC. The ROC team ROCKS!

The knee replacement process from start to finish was hiccup free. Dr. Shukla was professional and friendly at every step of the way. I’m in no hurry to have my other knee replaced but I will see Dr. Shukla when that time comes.

I can’t give enough praise to the entire team at ROC, from the receptionists to the man himself - Dr. Shukla, who did my whole knee replacement. The first appointment was efficiently handled in a professional yet personable manner, leaving me feeling very good about my decision to fix a nagging problem that has been ongoing for over a decade now. From that point forward, everything was handled through ROC like clockwork. I never had to call to get the ‘next step’ - ROC was always in control and steering the bus, which is huge for me. They did literally everything in house (also a great service!), so I always knew where I was going and was confident in the handling of each appointment. Surgery day was exciting - never know what to expect. But in keeping with tradition, ROC delivered a seamless experience. Staff was all very friendly The medical assistant guy can come across as uncaring and bothered by the fact you are there. Never felt like that with Dr. Shukla himself
