We need more like her
Dr. Woods took the time to listen to my concerns and made sure to treat them as valid. She is kind and I'm especially grateful to her. Not once has she said 'that will fix itself if you lose weight.' Instead, she did blood work and has me on the correct treatment. She's amazing at following up and taking great notes so she always knows what is going on. I cannot recommend her enough.

Shes an amazing doctor!
What an awesome doctor and person! She is so kind and gentle. She literally saved my love via CPR during surgery when I had a cardiac vasovagal episode. If you need a doctor...look no further.

Does not understand fertility
Dr Woods was very kind at first. But she ventured into an area that she should NOT have. We were trying to get pregnant. She prescribed a common med, clomid to boost ovulation. She didn't know next steps or how to follow up. I had blood tests drawn and showed elevated estrogen (which is an effect of the meds). Her nurse told me that I may be pregnant (which they would NOT have known at that time. Also, you're looking for increased HCG hormone to confirm pregnancy.) This is 101 basic knowledge. It was an emotional roller coaster from their incompetence. They discovered that they messed up and no one apologized or took any ownership at all. Please, if you have fertility questions, go to Virginia Fertility in C'ville. Don't waste your time here.

Dr Woods and her nurses are professional, kind, polite, understanding, helpful and patient. It's not often that you get a hug from your doctor and can discuss things other than medical. Dr Woods always listens, cares and explains things in a way a patient can understand, she is extremely thorough and is one of the finest doctors I have had the pleasure of being a patient. I would recommend her highly to anyone in need of Gynecological services; love her! I wish her much success in her future.
