Wonderful Doctor
Dr. Sep is truly a rare find. His waiting room is always packed but when he sees you, you'd think you were the only person he's seen that day. You really wonder how he does it. He takes a sincere interest in you and you leave feeling like you've been seen and heard...and most importantly, that you matter. You may at times have to sit in the lobby well beyond your scheduled time. There is a reason for that. It is due to the amount of time and care he is taking with the person that went in before you. And when it is your turn, you will understand that and appreciate it. His office is not an 'assembly line'. He is very passionate about his work and seems to take great joy in it. I trust and treasure him as my doctor.

Frustrating to Work With
Dr Sep is difficult to work with. His office staff frequently does not return calls, and I have to follow up after my pharmacy calls the office to get them to process my prescription refills. Dr Sep himself complains about his staff but does not take action to solve issues. Dr Sep is arrogant and acts condescending to patients. He criticizes decisions from prior rheumatologists and does not listen to concerns or previous experiences. I do not recommend him as a rheumatologist.

Top-Notch Doctor Who Listens, Cares & Digs Deeper
Dr. Sep, as he goes by, came very highly recommended from a highly revered doctor in the area. Dr. Sep is worth the wait! He figured out things that 3 prior rheumatologists didn't! He views each patient as an entire person, really listens, gives you time, is professional and cares about you as if you were family or a friend, is respectful, asks lots of questions to treat properly, and we highly recommend him! He and his staff are responsive and helpful too. Dr. Sep and his staff have gone above and beyond while caring for me, who is a complicated case, when I've been at my sickest. He's definitely the rheumatologist to go to!

Do Not Waste Your Time!
I gave them ONE star because I had to in order to post a review! Otherwise I wouldn’t have gave them a star at all! Would not recommend this office. I was diagnosed with Lupus with no testing other than bloodwork in less than a year! No explanation as to what to watch for if having a Lupus Flare. The front office MAY call you back in a timely manor, but they certainly NEVER have me. I’ve called with questions and I either get a message that a medication was called in (THE MESSAGE BEING FROM THE PHARMACY BECAUSE IT IS READY NOT THE DR’S OFFICE!) or even more concerning no call back or message at all. I Left a message Tuesday and it’s Friday….no surprise to me that they have not bothered to return my call. And every time I visit the office there is new staff! Definitely not a doctor or staff that cares about their patients!

Dr. Sep is outstanding! I have had other rheumatologist in the past and none have began to compare to Dr. Sep! He is extremely intelligent, knowledgable, and caring, diagnosing a problem, backed up with lab tests, I have had for some years where others have failed. He spent an hour with me on each of my first and second visits reviewing current and past history. I finally have an accurate diagnosis! Now treatment and relief is possible. I have recommended him to my daughter and friends and now to you! He is great and a gifted physician.

This is my first review of a doctor (and a very well-deserved review!) I recently saw Dr. Mesdaghinia and was beyond impressed. He certainly deserves more than five stars. The thouroughness and attention to detail sets this doctor apart from the rest. He is an expert in his field and really took the time to explain things to me and provide next steps. I can say with full confidence that if you need to see a rheumatologist Dr. Mesdaghinia is THE one to see.

Actually Dr Mesdaghinia is now practicing in Leesburg, Va. I cannot say enough good things about the Dr and his nurse Sasha! They are friendly, professional health professionals, that really care about you. Very rare these days where Dr's spend 15 minutes with you, then off again to another patient. Dr. "Mes" takes as much time as required to make sure he has all of your health concerns recorded and then develops a regimen to help with these areas of concern. I highly recommend NOVA Arthritis!
