completely unaware of the surgery we agreed on.
I met him and he explained I should have a spinal irrigation to relieve the pressure on my spine. I had gone through many procedures before and still in pain. we agreed to the spinal irrigation - the only procedure we discussed. when I woke up from the surgery My husband told me he had performed a spinal fusion on me and I found out what a spinal fusion was I went into a total state of shock. I couldnt talk to the dr and he was jovial and acted like everything went fine the 1 visit that he paid me at the hospital. i was never called back after surgery and i never went back to see him. i am emotional a wreck. i have seen other drs who have studied my history and feel the fusion was too extreme for my pain. He did not mention a fusion nor did i sign for 1. I cannot work anymore or enjoy my life. i am 67 years old and cannot egage in any activities i loved. the dr never contacted me to explain what happened. i am still in shock and want answers. the surgery was in 2022.what should i do?

Highly Recommend
Dr. Siddiqi performed my surgery June 2, 2023. I had a herniated disc at L5 -S1 . Dr. Siddiqi did robotic surgery to remove and replace the disc and fuse the area. I had great results. Being a nurse I needed to get it fixed and get back to work. I am back at work and doing great. Highly recommend Dr. Siddiqi and the hospital Methodist Willow brook.

Excellent surgeon
Dr Siddiqi goes the extra mile for safety and care before , during and after surgery. He gave options to try before I finally ejected to have surgery. Extremely pleased with this experience.

The Doctor was okay and charming but the office staff have no interest in following up and seeing patients!. They don’t care if you come back again, I have been waiting on a scheduled MRI for 2 months and have called the staff REPEATEDLY and no one is interested or concerned.. I keep getting the run around “them saying you’ll be scheduled in 24hrs” and nothing!! 2 months have passed and still fighting to get scheduled!. And that’s with HAVING INSURANCE!!.. I hate to see how they treat Non insurance people!

I had surgery by Dr. Siddiqi on Oct . 27 , 2017 thinking that my surgery would repair my condition of severe weakness in my back to the extent that I hardly had any balance to walk . I regret having the surgery done but Dr. Siddiqi want to operate on my neck now. I lost trust and I will always research much more extensively before allow anyone to do surgery again !

I found out about Dr. Siddiqi from a friend who was operated on by him and he could not say enough positive things about Dr. Siddiqi and his staff. From my first visit to after my lower back surgery, every encounter was great. I was extremely nervous about having back surgery and, after having it, I can't say enough positive things. He was the first and only physician who sat down and explained my MRI to me.

Dr. Siddiqi performed laser surgery to repair herniated discs, spine cyst, spinal stenosis on Dec. 14, 2014. I was in tremendous pain, could barely walk, needing a cane. I was in pain after surgery for awhile, had physical therapy (which I continue to this day to stay spine strong). Everyday, I thank God for Dr. Siddiqi and his staff. His caring heart and skilled hands literally saved my life!! Words cannot express my gratitude. For the lady still in pain, go back and try again.Nothing to lose

Dr. Shad Siddiqi performed back surgery on me on 5/23/16. Before the surgery I could walk a city block & stand for several minutes before the pain began. After the surgery I was hospitalized for 5 months. I had MRSA, massive blood clots in my leg & permanent nerve damage & will have to wear a brace for the rest of my life. I cannot walk even half a block or stand for over 45 seconds without pain. His response: Everything I did was perfect. Call me when you are ready for more surgery.
