Appointments don't matter
I never leave online reviews, but feel that I need to warn people about this place. I was a patient for a few years, probably 20 appointments over that time. Despite showing up on time every time, I never waited less than 1.5 hours to be seen. I really mean 'never.' One time was over 3 hours. The front desk staff are extremely rude. No level of politeness will cause them to act like they don't loathe every second they are on the phone with you, even for simple requests. If you have follow-up questions on anything, forget it. Their main goal always seems to get you off the phone. It's honestly baffling how mean they are for no reason.I put off changing doctors for a while because it's a hassle, but the last straw was when I called to get a prescription re-sent to the pharmacy. They told me to try again next week because they aren't calling in prescriptions this week. When I asked why, I was met with annoyed sighs and refusal to answer.Dr. Burton is nice. Her office is horrendous.

Good Dr, bad staff
Dr Burton is great, She listens and takes her time. He office staff is awful. Wait is always long in person and on the phone. They repeatedly make billing mistakes, so the onus is on me to deal with insurance, other providers, labs. Melissa especially rude and unprofessional. I avoid care not to deal with those people.

I have been going to Dr. Burton for over 10 years. She is great and her health assistants are great. However, the newer front desk assistants are terrible. I have been requesting a referral for over 3 months and Emily has not only not send them. I have called weekly reminding them to please send the referral, but she keep coming up with excuses. While I understand we are in the middle of a pandemic, I have ended up in the ER and at an emergency clinic, because of the total disregard of this clinic. The last time I called she said she had already sent it, but upon calling the doctor I learned that she had lied again. I do not recommend this place unless you want to deal with uncaring and lying secretaries.

Dr. Burton's office staff are very busy that's part of the job. We usually get there a little early to avoid being late. Once checked in the process goes fairly fast. Dr. Burton takes her time to acknowledge her patients and she calls them by name. Dr. Burton is a great doctor and a great healthcare provider. And she cares for her patients. Keep up the GOOD work Dr. Burton. Glo's Hope HCS

Dr. Burton is knowledgeable and caring. The issue that I have is with her front desk receptionist that plays games with the phone. When you call because you have an issue, she acts as if you are annoying her. She places you on hold without letting you know that she is doing so. In addition to that you will be holding 10 minutes or more, and get hung up on. When I addressed her, she said that wasn't me. Big lie! I will not be returning, this is the second rude receptionist that I have encountered there. Tired of telling the doctor, I won't be going back!

My experience with this Dr is absolutely the worst that I've ever had in my entire life. I have had to call the office constantly for lab results, test results, referrals, medication refills without success. I have had to drive to the office to get any results. I have spoken to Dr Burton about her staff, however they have only gotten worst. I have been waiting for them to send my test results and one medication refill for three months. IM DONE!!!!!

The absolute worse staff I have ever encountered. The attitude, rudeness, and egos in this office pushed me away. Dr. Burton began to take on the negativity and attitude of the office staff, which was very disappointing. You will feel as if you do not matter, as well as if you are a burden, and everyone in this office will make you feel this way. The staff needs to be tossed, and Dr. Burton needs to start over with professionals who truly care about the sick.

BEWARE : Do not go here is you have any respect for your health! 1. The staff here is THE WORST. I have had to call 5 or 6 times and have been given inconsistent responses. I cannot get lab results. I am NEVER called with my results even though told I'd be called. 2. I just pulled my lab results for the last year to switch providers and see HIGH (abnormal) test results that were never shared nor discussed with me. WOW! I had high cholesterol and WBC and this was reported for months. DO NOT!

Dr. Burton is an EXCELLENT doctor...but a doctor is only as good as his/her staff. Her staff is among the worst in the business. They have attitudes that can sour your mood. They fail to provide basic things for which they are paid 1. They NEVER call you back with test results. EVER. When you call them looking for the results, they act annoyed. 2. They NEVER call in any Rx as promised. I once waited a week to get my meds 3. They mess up billing to your insurance. You will be sent to collection

It's 3:00pm on a Wednesday and their machine says they are closed. The operator told me they are supposed to check in with her daily and they don't so she never knows if they are there or not. They do not return phone calls or emails. On a Monday, a nurse told me my labs were in and the doctor would call me back to discuss the results and she didn't. I had to call every day until Friday to talk to someone.
