Dr. Shawn Yunayev, MD

Dr. Yunayev has to be the rudest doctor I have ever encountered in my 39years of living. He is horribly disrespectful, condescending, & egotistical. Any questions that are asked, are met with snide comments and an extremely arrogant air. Patients go to doctors in a very vulnerable state sometimes. We want to feel comfortable with who's hands we put our health in. Not just from a standpoint of knowing what they are doing medically, but also have at least a slight bit of compassion. Dr. Yunayev lacks an human emotions besides arrogance. I wouldn't recommend him to an enemy. DO NOT go to him unless you want to be belittled & leave feeling absolutely horrible and uncomfortable. How this man is still in practice is beyond me.

Doctor Yunayev is the best OBGYN ever. He is really thorough and pays attention to everything. He takes the necessary precautions. He checked on me while I was in the hospital and explains everything in detail. He is very kind and professional. If you are seeking the best care I recommend him. It was my first pregnancy and while it was a rough and difficult one. He made it less stressful and comfortable. I love his staff at Bella donna from the clerk, medical assistant, midwife, to the Doctor (Shawn Yunayev), you receive top tier care. I don't regret choosing him as my doctor for a second.

I was referred to this office by my Ob because he no longer delivers babies. At 12 weeks pregnant I had to switch to Dr. Yunayev which made my first pregnancy experience quite stressful. Ive never intentionally dealt with a doctor that was nasty and had poor bedside manner. If I visited this office 10 times, I probably saw him twice and mainly saw the midwife who was very kind. He dropped me from his services at 28 weeks pregnant because I asked questions concerning my pregnancy and health in general. He is just nasty! This office makes everything difficult for no reason. He makes very unnecessary comments and can not handle patients who ask questions. He talked my ears off but couldn't answer simple questions. I would've never stayed this long is I knew how nasty he was. Glad to be finding a new Ob because I wouldn't be comfortable with him caring for me and my unborn child.

It was very interesting to me to read his care philosophy- because I didn't see any of that at my appointment today. I felt like all he wanted to do was scare me and not treat me. Was rude and condescending, called me in to tell me about results his secretary already told me and didn't want to do the next step testing because it would take "too long to up the machine and he had other patients to see", spent 3 mins with me and told me to set up another appointment.

I have been going to Dr Yunayev for over five years. He was there with me every step of the way thru four pregnancies (two births and two miscarriages). During my deliveries he was there at the hospital with me the entire time (15+ hours). He is professional, and takes his time explaining everything in common language. I was overseas while experiencing a miscarriage and he and his staff kept in touch with me and talked me thru this horrible experience. I consider him and his staff family!

I've visited this office multiple times and the service becomes worse with ever visit. The latest incident consisted of me being called by his staff and being told that I needed to come in for a follow up for my HPV test. I arrived at the office signed in, watched two patients who arrived after me be called before Me. I was given an apology when I pointed it out to the staff. I get in the exam room. Wait another 20 minutes, only to have the nurse inform me That there was no reason for an appt.
