After many years of research on reversals, finding Dr. Marks was a huge sigh of relief. With my husband having had a vasectomy 23 years ago, it was great knowing Dr. Marks had a patient with 42 years from vasectomy! We also liked knowing only one surgery is done a day and that the patient is the only priority on surgery day. The care that Dr. Marks does not only prior to and on surgery day, but also after surgery is also pretty amazing. He calls and does a hotel visit to make sure things are good. He's one of the most attentive and thoughtful doctors we've met. Actually, probably the only attentive and thoughtful doctor we've met! Our experience at ICVR was absolutely phenomenal! I say our, because my fiance and I were treated like royalty, in every step of the way. I should know, because it was my 3rd reversal, from 3 different surgeons, at 3 different surgery centers. This surgery was a redo from a surgery in 2019 that failed. I cannot stress enough, on how important it is to choose the right surgeon. The difference in pain, recovery, and aftercare is unbelievable from my surgery in 2019. It makes me sick to my stomach, that I didn't have to go through so much pain and frustration like the one in 2019. I wish I could post a picture from the day after of both surgeries. I had zero pain and no bruising after a reversal with Dr. Marks. The day after surgery in San Diego was a nightmare. It looked like the surgeon used a hammer, scalpel, and glue. Excellent all the way around! The video appointment was very informative, we drove 14 hours to go to have the reversal done and I am pain free, which I wasn't before due to granulomas that formed a year ago when I had my vasectomy. Its too early to tell if the surgery was successful in terms of fathering a child, however I feel so much better now and even if there wasn't a baby in our future, I still would have done this again to not feel the pain I used to feel. Dr. Marks impressed us from the start. He took time to really get to know us as a couple and made us feel so at ease the entire time. His patient care is amazing. They had a room filled with movies, books, snacks and wifi for me to sit in during the surgery and they kept me updated the whole time (I even got to go to the lab to see some slides!) He visited us twice in our hotel room and we were chatting like old friends the whole time. They have called to check in on us almost weekly. The before during and after care is top notch. We would highly recommend him for his knowledge and care.

Dr. Mark's and his staff are incredible! My fiance and I searched a few different clinics and doctors before settling on Dr. Marks at IVCR. I had a vasectomy over 18 years ago so we knew there would be challenges to my reversal. Dr. Marks calmed our fears through amazing communication and a detailed explanation of his approach to my reversal. When my fiance and I showed up for our procedure, they not only made me feel at ease, they made my fiance feel right at home. They kept her informed and ensured she was comfortable during the operation. She had her own private room with a comfy couch, blankets, T.V., snacks, drinks, etc. Dr. Mark's staff was amazing! They are all very professional, but make you feel like family. (Dr. Mark's even came to our hotel the next morning to personally check on me) I can not say enough good things about Dr. Mark's and his staff at ICVR. FIVE STARS FOR SURE!!! ????? Excellent experience. Procedure went very smoothly and the after care and follow up has been great. Any questions I’ve had have been answered in a very timely fashion. You really get the feeling that Dr. Marks and his staff truly care about their patients and that you aren’t just a transaction.

Did our reversal on 8/22/19 with Dr. Marks and it was amazing! I loved that they have their own facility. Their instructions are thorough and very easy to understand . Dr. Marks has amazing technical skills and is one of the most personable doctors we have ever met. He is funny and caring all at the same time. Their nurses and office admin are incredibly sweet, nice, understanding, and helpful. You can tell the whole staff and doctors know your mission is to have another baby and that is all they care about and they provide amazing after care! You get the doctor's personal cell phone for any questions, they do follow-up calls to see how you are doing, and they were very sweet with helping us out with some items we forgot to bring to the surgery. ICVR was just absolutely amazing and we are blessed we found them.

Today is my husband’s 76th birthday and thanks to Dr. Marks we have an 11-year-old son celebrating “Dad’s” birthday with us! Dr. Marks and his staff were awesome over a decade ago and with each birthday we remember them and can’t imagine our lives without our youngest son- whom we have because of the incredible work by Dr. Marks! After searching for surgeons to perform a reversal near us, we came across an article informing us that a reversal is much more complicated than a vasectomy and we should seek the best. Dr. Marks and his staff are incredible. We had a redo- reversal. The difference between the first reversal (done elsewhere) and the redo were night and day. Dr. Marks and his staff have made it so easy for us. They have answered all of our questions and guided us every step of the way. We have never received better medical care. I had a reversal redo done. My first doctor should not call himself that and it was painful for a LONG time. Dr Marks said there would be a big difference and that was an understatement. My numbers are good and getting better, I was up and around and functional in two weeks. The pain was extremely minimal and I can't say enough about the after care. The whole office is phenomenal.
