Dr. Kumar, very well, should be the standard bearer for all cardiologists. She is exceptionally knowledgeable, patient in explaining all aspects of care, Empathetic, Compassionate, and Totally engaged with the patient when she is speaking with him or her.

In my 2-years with Dr. Kumar, what impresses me most is that she really CARES about her patients. One example — during our initial visit, in going over each of my medications she probed by asking “why are you taking this? She patiently listened to my explanations. In one case it led her her to order a special test for calcium levels in my blood during my subsequent stress and other lab tests, leading to modifications to my daily meds and vitamins. Two years later I rate her as the best cardiologist I have ever had, and I’ve had many over the past 40 years, given the heart abnormalities (not disease) I have had. I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Kumar as my cardiologist.
