HAES Friendly
Dr. Kenkare is an advocate for people who reside in larger 'fat' bodies in the sense that she provides authentic and non-weight biased care to her patients. Although she can speak quickly, I found Dr. Kenkare to be incredibly warm, safe, friendly, smart, and helpful. Would recommend her to anyone.

One of the most rude dr.s I have ever seen
She spent little to no time with me, did not understand my needs, and when I asked her to slow down she ignored me. Her solutions were not helpful. Went back to my Old provider because I felt so awful after leaving

Little Care / Memory of Patients
I have seen Dr. Kankare several times before finally finding a new doctor as a result of her sheer lack of interest in her patients and job. She does not review patient health or visit history prior to appointments, seems bothered when reminded about health history, disrespects patients who may feel uncomfortable being nude and moves too quick (a full body scan of someone with malignant melanoma history should last more than 4 minutes). Do not recommend.

Rushed and not thorough
I have been to Dr. Kenkare's office twice and both times were extremely rushed. Both appointments were 5 minutes long, and I felt like I was just the next stop in the hall. I did not feel either time that she was thorough or caring of my concerns. I also found her general manner to be off-putting and even unprofessional in some of her comments. Plus, it's extremely hard to get an appointment that isn't at least two months out. Will not be seeing her again.

she did not do a complete body exam, nor did her assistant. her report says a body exam was done. She did not prescribed a treatment plan that did not address why I came to her.

I am sure she is competent enough for a skin check. However she was very rushed. Did not listen well. Treated me as if I was uneducated and never heard of sunscreen. I laughed when I looked at her notes; claimed a bunch of stuff was "discussed". Fortunately I read everything online because she did not give me any printed instructions or information.

Very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. Would highly recommend Derick Dermatology and Dr. Kenkare. The staff is very professional and polite. Appointment was easy to schedule. Walked away very satisfied and hope for the same service at future visits
