My first visit to Dr. Shoss and I was pleased. He was very thorough in examining and taking care of the reason for my visit, as well as very clear in his answers to my questions. I’ve already scheduled my next appointment with Dr, Shoss for 6 months from now.

Dr Shoss did a hearing test, and monitored any changes in a lipoma on my left cheek/jaw, a dilated vein.

Excellent ENT
As previous reviews stated, Dr. Shoss has great listening and questioning skills. He want to ensure he is understanding everything you tell him and will keep asking clarifying questions until he can zone into what might be the problem, then provides tests that end up supporting his initial thoughts on what the problem might be.

Dr. Shoss is very thorough and I really appreciate the time he takes to explain his diagnosis, opinion and suggested treatments. His staff is friendly and accommodating. I spent about 20 minutes with the Audiologist at his office and she was very patient and quite thorough as well. I felt like I was in very good hands. Very impressive and highly competent group.

Dr. Shoss is an extremely nice and knowledgeable doctor/ENT specialist. He is very caring, and he easily understands/anticipates the questions from the patients. Dr. Shoss explains the patient’s medical problems/issues in a very easy and understandable fashion. Dr. Shoss was able to diagnose my ailment and treat me accordingly. He is always friendly and professional. I like the fact that he has been practicing long enough and has seen all kinds of ailments. Call me old-fashioned but I prefer that. He also has a wonderful staff.

Dr. Shoss is amazing. I have been going to an ENT my whole life. Starting with the best at the Mayo Clinic. When I moved to Sugar Land I was looking to fill big shoes. I definitely found it at Houston ENT. (Sugar Land location) Started with Dr. Devorkin for 25 years who retired. Then I had a terrible earache and called to make an appointment. Dr. Shoss had an immediate opening. He was so amazing and caring. The biggest bonus was he was so gentle while inside me ear. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Shoss is outstanding. He initiated a difficult procedure and although he was met with seemingly insurmountable challenges, he would not give up. He ultimately completed the procedure with a significant measure of skill and acumen while inflicting virtually no pain during the procedure that I know to be quite painful. This doctor is extremely professional, very experienced, and exhibits an excellent “bedside manner,” the progeny of appreciable empathy for the patient.
