DC is a One Party Recording State. Please take your cell phone with you to your Doctors appointment and record him. It is your right to help shed light into Dr. Rothchilds practice and get his license revoked. He is a horrible doctor that only works for BIG PHARMA. He is a very nasty human and karma will get him in the end. All the best and I hope it helps. Dr. Rothchild doesn't even get 1 star he's not worth it.

This man needs to have is medical license revoked. He is a disgrace to his profession and is a pawn for the workmans comp companies. I've had 3 knee surgeries in the past 3 years. Including a total knee replacement a year ago. He says theres nothing wrong with me. Gave mea zero percent rating and said I could continue driving the bus with no issues. Seen him for 5 mins. He never wrote down any measurements during the examination to show that my injured leg is still swollen and bruised. Disgrace

Used by workers comp insurance to discredit patient injury. Has a very nasty attitude when you are unable to do the physical things he tries to force you to do. Will aggrevate your pain to try and write you are not injured. Word is he gets paid up to $2000 per patient he documents as meeting maximum treatment to save insurance companies money at the expense of your pain and suffering. He needs his license revoked. He literally had a full temper tantrum when I couldn't move my body.

I read his reviews about how he is used by insurance to disqualify claims and I was one who can certainly attest to that. I have a rotator cuff tear caused by a fall at work, didn't get anything but physical therapy from workers comp, and he stated in his report: I reached maximam medical treatment. How is that possible when the only way to repair a torn muscle is surgery. I question the Board that certifies such so call doctors. It's such disgrace that doctors like him are never questioned.

He is the absolute worst doctor I have ever seen. If you are an informed patient who asks questions, then I recommend avoiding him at all costs. I have never been treated as poorly as I was by a physician. When I asked questions about different options, he thought I was questioning his medical judgment, which I was not. I was trying to get as much information about my care. There are so many excellent orthopedic surgeons in DC and surrounding cities.

Decades ago, I began seeing Dr. Desiderio, who shares an office with Dr. Rothschild. I was referred to Dr. Rothschild when my son needed to be seen. We returned a year ago due to more serious issues. Since then, he has been monitoring my son, building a great rapport with him and keeping we parents well-informed of the issues. He's been wonderful, caring, easily accessible and approachable, and quick to get other opinions in complex scenarios. He's an old school doc in the best possible sense.

Bedside manner leaves a fair bit to be desired. Twice didn't recommend PT after treatment, which at the time I wanted to hear (who has time for PT) but in retrospect was a mistake in both instances.

He and his staff are some of the rudest, least helpful, people I have ever met. Dr. Rothschild asked why I said Ow when he carelessly moved my injured leg around. He denies what you say about your pain. We waited for ah HOUR in the waiting room and another HOUR in the exam room. TWO HOURS WAIT! No exagguration. Don't waste your money or time here.
