Dr. Stefan Dupont, MD

Very good at explaining the testing and why a vascular surgery may cause more problems. He was very directed and showed us the MRI and other testing. This was more than we had seen or be told while my husband was at main campus University Hospital.

My initial visit went well enough. Ordered another set of MRI and CT scan to rule out anything major going on and discussed a possible change in medication. Well that was over 8 months ago. Here I am still with sever migraines unable to manage them, no further testing, no change in medication, and the referral that was supposed to come along MONTHS ago has still never come even after calling the office multiple times. Each time I call the office with an issue or a four day migraine, I get the run around, and the staff telling me the dr will be paged and give me a call. A call that never comes and I’m forced to seek help from the ER. This is why I have a neurologist!!! If you don’t plan on helping your patients after their initial visit - find another profession.

Just an update to an earlier review. After pursuing my condition with another doctor it turned out I had nerve damage which was easily found after an EMG. If you have something wrong and can't find an answer, keep trying. It took me 15 months but I finally found my answer. You WILL NOT find it with Dr. Dupont if it is anything more complicated than a headache. Good Luck!

The doctor is never in his office, the people who answer the phone never seem to know what they're doing, and I had a procedure done and was told the results would be on the system that day. The doctor won't get back to me till after a week after I've had a procedure done, which could lead to brain surgery and I'm very worried about it. I would not give him even one start to recommend him to family and friends but they make you put at least one star.
