Dr. Stephen Damiani, DO

He’s great as a doctor but his staff is VERY RUDE with attitude about everything even just escorting patients into the rooms. They ignore patients and are constantly cussing.

Dr Damiani listen to your issues, he cares about you as a client, and he lets you be a part of your health decisions!

Great Doctor never had a doctor like him before very knowledgeable Caring.

Dr Damiani is very thorough and caring but unfortunately has too many patients. His staff is rude and unprofessional. Seems one should expect to wait 2-3 hours per visit (even on follow ups). I live 1.25 hours away and do work, so an 5-6 hour trip is unrealistic. Cannot communicate with him (I asked his staff to leave him a message and told me no- I needed to wait for an appointment). Then I asked to schedule Telehealth and was given an appointment of “sometime between 9-3”. I’m used to having a portal, so when I heard they didn’t have that, I should have looked elsewhere.

Doctor is great. His receptionists and support staff are generally pleasant but not always. Getting through on a phone call can be difficult if not impossible at times.

Dr. Damiani "s staff is the worst!!! They have put me on hold for 4 days straight sometimes hanging up on me without even picking up the phone. The line just went dead while I'm on hold. They don't follow through on prescription refills or referrals. Twice I've had to go to his office just make an appointment and get referral taken care of. FRONT OFFICE STAFF IS HORRIBLE!! But Dr. Damiani is great. That's the only reason we're sticking with these people. I've had to have the pharmacy FAX things over to them 5+ times. I'm getting tired of doing their job for free!

Dr Damiani is great. His larger than life personality is amazing. That being said, his receptionists are the worst. Unfortunately receptionists are who we deal with in a doctors office the most, and can make or break an office. As for these women, you’d think it would physically hurt them to smile. I have never had a pleasant experience with any of these women. They’re rude and argumentative. If they make eye contact, they never smile or even greet you. They talk to you like you’re a burden. The wait times, on average, are well over an hour which I was willing to endure because I love Dr Damiani. However, I refuse to be disrespected and spoken to in a condescending manner. What happened to being polite? This is not how a patient should be treated.

I firmly believe that Dr. Damiani is one of the reasons I am alive. He has been my Dr for years. I don't know how long. He is supportive. He is helpful. He listens. He helps. The times that I have been in the hospital - he is not only there every day. He is the first Dr. in the room. All that knowledge, wit, and kindness in him... Great staff. He spends more time with you than most doctors. He explains things very well. You are never rushed.

In 20 years by the time I met Dr Damiani, no doctor would actually listen to my issues. I told Dr. Damiani I was there to actually interview him and told him I would listen to everything he would request and do everything he asked, IF he would listen to me. He did and I did and 5 years later I am happy to be treated still By Dr Damiani. He is a very smart doctor and I highly recommend him

Best in the field he is a caring Doctor

Very disappointed. Waited an hour and a half passed my appointment time before I saw him. Wants a cardiologist to check my heart and learn if it will not be negatively affected by the prescribed medicine. In Orange County California I rarely had problems with doctors. Since moving to Hesperia I feel demeaned by the office personell if not necessarily the doctors. I am in constant Hellish pain and suffering. The staffs just don't seem to care. When you get old folks treat you like dirt.

I was referred to the Doctor through the VA choice program and my obgyn. I am pregnant and my ob wanted my Grave's disease monitored during my pregnancy as I have had recent miscarriages and he wanted to ensure my thyroid was in check to ensure the health of my baby. Dr. Damiani spends time listening and answering questions or concerns. He is through and caring. His office is clean and comfortable. His staff is extremely courteous and friendly. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting a doctor that is professional and caring.

Dr. Damiani has been my my endocrinologist for 16 years. He truly treats his patients with sincere compassion along with his expertise and professionalism.

I have had 3 total visits with Dr. Damiani in the past year. The staff is extremely unfriendly and rude. At every appointment I have waited in the cramped reception area 45-55 minutes, to be rushed into a second room for stats, and rushed into an exam room to wait another 10-20 minutes for the doctor who then spends about 5 minutes very loudly voicing his advice. The surgery he recommend was wrong according to two other doctors and could have cost me my vocal cords. I recommend go elsewhere.

Greatest care ever given. It's taken 21 years to get proper diagnosis and seen him once with my list of complaints and was sent for ultrasound and diagnosed the same day by him and radiologists. Surgical procedure was scheduled with urgency and 10 years this year I'm doing well because of Dr. Damian MD. Love this man. He was such a blessing and still my doctor, lso my husband's doctor. He has helped us both stay on top of all healthcare. Love Dr. Damiani. Would highly recommend him....

Dr Damiani is the best endo Dr that I have ever been to. He is compassionate and lively. However his staff is unbearable. They are rude and inconsiderate, they bill out my insurance wrong everytime I go, they don't inform you that you owe money and I never know until a collections agency is calling and they don't do reminder calls so you better remember your appointment or you will be charged and don't be late or you're charged. I hate leaving Doctor but I can handle he staff any longer.
