Dr. Stephen Fillman, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Fillman over thirty-five years, and he is simply the best doctor I have ever had. At the age of 9I, I drive nearly one hour each way to see him when there are two hospitals with large staffs of doctors within five miles of my home. Enough said.

Has been our physician for over 22 years. I will always recommend him to others without a doubt. He has taken excellent care of me and my husband. Dr. Fillman also reads up and stays current on treatments, trends, all the Covid mess, alternate options, and how he can provide the best care possible to his patients.

He is the best!

Dr Fillman is the cream of the crop! I’ve gone to him for many, many years. He takes time to listen and gets know his patients. Very personable, capable, intelligent and caring. I’ll be sad & lost if he ever retires. There’s none better! I highly recommend him!

Office manager Stefanie does not return phone calls. Dr Fillman was assigned as my primary care physician by Blue Shield of TX. When I called for an appointment, I was told he doesn't take BCBS nor does he take new patients. Despite BCBS stating otherwise.

I’ve been using Dr. Fillman for years. He spends quality time with me answering all questions and doing what is needed to see that I get the extra care I need.

I have been a patient with Dr. Fillman since 1983. He is an awesome doctor. He is very knowledgeable on nearly any medical question. He cares about his patients.

Dr. Fillman has been my doctor for over 30 years. He has saved my life numerous times. I love that he doesn't pretend to know everything. If he doesn't know something, he researches it and provides an answer. Also, when I was without insurance, he ran my labs for free and gave me my expensive medication that I would die without. He's never allowed to retire because I will never find a doctor as compassionate and caring as him.

Dr. Fillman is awesome, in my opinion. I have been seeing him for nearly 30 years, and am proud to say I am my patient. At one time, I lived in Kilgore and drove to see him, because I didn't want anyone else .

I have seen Dr. Fillman for a few years now and he was recommended by two other patients who are close friends of mine and have seen him for years. He takes his time to listen to his patients, so yes my appointments may start later but it's worth it. I am also trying to get his new contact information because Genesis won't help with that. I had to see another one of their doctors to get a prescription refill and the appointment felt rushed and I had more questions or concerns that weren't addressed. Afterward, while I was waiting for labs, I saw the same doctor walking around chatting with other staff and wondered why he couldn't have spent more time on my appointment if he didn't have to see another patient right away. BEST. DOCTOR.EVER. I have been seeing Dr. Fillman since the early 90's, and no one else will do. I just found out he left Genesis Medical Group and I am glad he did! However, I need to see him and all the Genesis morons would tell me is that he will be contacting his patients! Please email me Dr. Fillman! saundra5@swbell.net My thyroid meds were recalled! Help!

He listens to every word you say, he leaves no stone unturned! He will not quit until you are healthy and happy!! Best Dr. I’ve ever had!

Always helpful & right on spot

Dr. Fillman has been treating me for 20 years. I cannot imagine seeing anyone else. He is talented, knowledgeable, and caring. He is an outstanding professional.

Dr Fillman took care of my dad for several years. He knew when to test and treat and when to sit back and let nature take its course. Thank you for taking care of Dad.
