Dr. Gelfand wrote 2 articles on Rheumatology, Arthritis. He was knowledgeable, informative an appointment with him. I had been suffering from low energy, stiffness. Dr Gelfand was very kind. Reviewed records from Orthopedic doctors. He sent me for a blood test for ANA ( Anti-Nuclear Antibodies). I had been tested for low Thyroid by another physician which was negative. Until the ANA was ordered. That test confirmed low thyroid. It changed my life. Got better. Came off meds.
