Dr Lowry was the calm in my recent storm - an 11 day hospital stay that included unexpected surgery. He was kind, informative, and prioritized my safety and care. Truly exceptional human and doctor.

1000% The best surgeon In Kansas!!!!
I had gastric ulcers and two partial gastrectomys prior to seeing Dr Lowry. He was honest with telling me that my entire stomach would need removed and that there was a 95% chance that I would be on a feeding tube, post surgery. Well, here I am 23 years later, eating on my own and I am 1000% confident that I am still alive today because of this man. Dr Lowry takes the time during any appointment with no time restraints to fully explain in terminology that I could understand. He has a great bedside manner and the kindest heart. I am and will be forever grateful to have Dr Lowry in my care.

100% would recommend
on September 3rd, 2013 i had to be rushed to the Providence Medical Center ER, and was unresponsive because my body had went into septic shock. September 7th, 2013 i had a colon resection and had 2 feet of my lower intestine removed. Dr Lowry and his team was who completed that surgery after an almost 2 hour clean out of my insides, and also the tale down surgery to remove my ostomy bag from my stomach from that whole mess.... I would absolutely trust Dr. Lowry with ANY surgical procedures throughout my life if I should ever need him. I can't thank him enough for giving me my life back!!!

He makes sure that you as a patient has a say in what needs to be done. He saved me in June 2021 because he gets to know the patient and what is wrong with the patient.

Dr. Lowry was my surgeon at Providence Medical Center for my cholecystectomy. His care was excellent, I felt that he truly listened to my concerns both prior to and after the surgery. I had a quick recovery and felt that he and his staff were with me on this journey. Excellent care, very kind and professional bedside manner, and I would highly recommend him.

Modified surgical device which lead to internal bleeding, had to have it removed by another hospital!

There's no words to say how good Dr. Lowry is! He's done so many good things for me, he has the best bedside manners...I would never hesitate to go under his care at any time. And honestly I don't want anybody else working on me! His nurse Amy is amazing also, Amy gets things done in a timely manner and she's very kind! Dr. Lowry and Amy make a very good team and I would never hesitate to recommend Dr. Lowry!

I was diagnosed with gastroparesis in 2013 and was referred to Dr. Lowry to do a pyloroplasty and two feeding tubes. He is an excellent doctor and surgeon. He treats you like you truly care. I am still his patient today and considering a gastrectomy. I put all my trust in him to do what is best for me and to take great care of me during surgery. If I ever have questions he is more than happy to answer them and take his time to fully explain everything.

Excellent surgeon with a great office staff. I was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2015 Dr Lowry was able to remove all the cancer and get me back on my feet in a timely manner. Not to mention he has a great bedside manner.
