Great dr! Good bedside manners, great listener, don't mind sending you for testing. Always follow up. But that STAFF! Just Shameful especially that Michelle! With her handsome self.

I have seen Dr. Kline several times and I like him. The problem is with his staff and getting an appointment. You cannot talk to someone directly and have to leave a voicemail but the problem is they never return your phone call. After several tries I gave up and am switching to a new doctor which is a shame

Absolute worst experience with a doctor and office staff in 49 years. Staff and doctor were rude and inconsiderate. Been waiting for someone to call me back for over 2 weeks now regarding my diagnosis and help with prescribed medication. This place is a joke! Do not make an appointment here.

My first time to this Dr. He was ill & coughing in rook without mask. He was blunt & inconsiderate. No compassion at all. Didn't take much time at all on my first visit. In my opinion I wouldn't recommend this Dr & considering not returning for further visits. His fellow that came in first was decent & younger.

I’ve seen Dr. Klein several times. The office staff is unorganized and not very friendly. Every time I’ve gone to see him I have waited in wait room for 30-90 minutes after my appointment time to see him. He doesn't listen or ask many questions. He never once asked about my diet. Just wants you to take more and more medication even if you have side effects. Then when you call the office with questions, you can never get ahold of anyone and they never call you back.

Went for an appointment today, was treated so rudely by the woman checking me in! I didn’t have my insurance card but had a photo of it, kept telling me she needed a copy then proceeded to tell me that it was responsibility to have notified then prior as they had called 10Days before “obviously you chose not to”! The ladies behind me had the same experience, the daughter said no wonder the reviews are so bad! Now reading them makes sense! I chose not to stay for the appointment couldn’t imagine what kind of reception I was going to get from Doctor! I’m a nurse couldn’t imagine treating a patient of mine like that! She even chose to argue with me that she wasn’t rude!

Dr. Klein is a caring, compassionate gastroenterologist. He goes above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and explains everything to me in terms that I can understand. He had a dedicated, hardworking staff that care about their patients.

He may be a good doctor, but: Their office policies were frightening. Their intro paperwork for new patients states that they add a 35% surcharge to any late bill which they promise to promptly turn over to lawyers and collection agencies. and the issue of privacy: they state they may share your personal medical information with anyone "for any other purpose deemed appropriate by South Oakland Gastroenterology." I have gone to Dr. Klein several times for my colonoscopy. I have no issues with him. My problem is with the person scheduling the appointments. I have left several messages trying to get something scheduled without a call back. I am switching doctors because of that.

Bad practice and unfortunately I would not subject myself to his staff nor associates. Everyone I have spoken to in this office is rude and aggressive. I'm not sure if they realize where there paycheck comes from....patients. Also I'm not sure if they realize patients can go somewhere else with friendly staff and helpful employees.
