Best PCP I had!
I’ve been seeing Dr. Whitmarsh for 4 years now. We are now leaving due to the military and I wish I can keep seeing this doctor. He is direct and provides great guidance to overcome family health issues. He has helped with my running injuries as well cover other areas that I needed to address. He is the type of doctor that everyone needs who addresses your concerns.

Solutions!
Third visit to the clinic, I had seen PAs before. Dr Whitmarsh immediately saw that I needed a specialist, got the ball rolling, identified that some of the previous medications that were not effective for my issue and told me which ones to continue. Also willing to provide backup if the referral system tries to delay me too long. He is quick, decisive, intelligent. I have worked in healthcare before and prefer the correct diagnosis first even if the physician moves quickly. On the right track now and grateful.

Took my wife in for a welfare check and the Dr. completely ignored my wife's concerns over family history and complete disregard for her wellbeing. Did nothing to actually take any of her information during her welfare check as well as having no bed side manner as well as when suggesting a form of birth control while looking at me instead of my wife for her opinion. Over all he seems misogynistic and shows a deep disregard for people of color. Would not go back.

I have been seeing Dr. Whitmarsh for over 8 years. He is personable, he cares about the well-being of his patients. Especially, during the pandemic, he answered questions I had and relieved me of my doubts with very educational dialogue.

This MD likes to give me difficulty about any of my medicine. I had a back injury 12 years a go and that was first and last time I scheduled with him because he said that I have to stop taking my pain medication in my response and question to him is you don’t know how painful it is and you don’t even know me to tell me to stop my pain medicine for my back. I asked him then what am I supposed to do with the pain and his response is “ SUCK IT UP”” . Last week I was trying to get a hold of my primary provider but somehow my message got to him. My request is for a prescription of Diflucan for yeast infection in my vagina that I got from taking antibiotic and knowing I am type 2 Diabetic with a history of chronic yeast infection. I complained at that time and they fooled me. They said they will let me talk to the patient advocacy officer yet come to find out, the person that they sent to me is just a medical technician. I feel such a fool and stupid.

Dr Whitmarsh, I was a patient of yours 4 years ago. You suggested that I get a gastric sleeve. You were right. I am now 100 pounds less. You changed my life. Happy Thanksgiving. Emma De Kler
