Dr. Sudhakar Reddy, MD

The wait times can be very long before called back for your procedure. I have used Dr. Reddy for years and he is awesome. He does not say much but he is a great doctor. I have never had any issues with him. He cares about his patients. I think he is retiring and if so we are losing a great Gastroenterology doctor.

I was scheduled for a procedure . Did the preparation stuff as directed. Became very sick cancelled procedure and called and left messages at least 3. For nurse to discuss alternatives to the traditional prepartation stuff. I have a seizure condition and the way the staff was over the phone was not understanding . I also have high functioning autism. To date nobody has called me back. Never the less I am scheduled for next month which I will cancel and do next year cause of the lack of communication with this providers staff is disrespectful and not professional if I would have been hospitalized from being sick it would be on the provider above. It is my local phamacist that got me through that night with the prep . Further more the instructions sheets need to be more easier to understand .

I have been seeing Dr Sudaker Reddy for a number of years. He is always courteous, caring, & knowledgeable. I have found him to be easy to talk with about my issues & proficient in carrying out procedures. His P.A. Scott is a good addition to the practice. He and Dr Reddy talk together about my care so I am comfortable with either one.

Dr Reddy is extremely knowledgeable in his field and is never rushed to answer questions or listen to my concerns. He also has a gentle, compassionate bedside manner. I've been a patient of his for 2 decades and have never been disappointed with the care he provides.

I have neer seen nor met Dr Reddy although he has performed several colonoscopies and endoscopies on me. After each procedure he leaves papers for me with my wife or with an assistant with no specific diagnosis or explanations. consequently I cannot understand what or why I am being treated for. This time his assistant told me I needed an endosciioy because my dental extractions required my throat be expanded to prevent choking. I really had no problem related to my throat and Reddy never talked to me about nor did the other Dr examine me besides looking at my history, The staff was very good, my entire day was spent on this and all just to get my linzess prescription renewed. I think was very inconsiderate and unconscionable. I will never go to the Digestive Diseases of Panama City again or see Reddy again. This kind of impersonal profit motive production line medicine is costly to the system and did nothing for me. The digestive disease clinic in Tallhassee will trat me.

I have a rare esophigial motility disorder called jackhammer esophagus. Thanks to Dr. Reddy's? recommendation to go to Shands EGD center in Gainesville, my condition was diagnosed and verified through High Resolution Manometry. Without his help, I would still not know the diagnosis. I highly recommend him.
