Dr. Sunil Rangarajan, MD

I had a very frustrating experience with Dr R. From start to finish there was always a difficulty in communication. All my questions go through his MA who misinterprets the message. He seemed to be caring during the appointment but after he’s done there is a disingenuous feeling where he no longer seems interested to help. Making follow up appointments was very difficult and he is unreachable outside the appointment slots.

One of the worst doctors I’ve seen—completely disinterested and unprofessional. He barely acknowledged my concerns, rushed through the appointment, and offered little to no explanation. It felt like he just wanted to get through the visit rather than actually help. I would not recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor who truly cares about their patients.

Dr Rangarajan is an exemplary doctor. I cannot say enough good things about him. I know he cares about me and my health. He always takes time to explain things until we understand. He is an amazing doctor. I have some very hard decisions to make and he was very very helpful by giving me clear explanations about my options.

He proceeded quickly for my care.

Looking at the aftercare notes it feels like I'm not being listened to because everything is saying Patient stated but I sent over all my Medical records and I feel like they weren't read I feel like my concerns about my health are push to the side

I was given good information about my condition and made aware of any solutions to control it.

Dr. Rangarajan even allows my sister from Ohio participate in the meeting by phone. A very compassionate Dr.

I was told by the front desk to keep my visit under 15 minutes because that is how long he has per patient. I felt like I was in a factor line and it was a dehumanizing experience. He seemed rushed and I left with more questions than I had going in.

Dr. R continues to be one of the best Doctors I've had.

I had a hard time communicating with the team. They did not set up the appointments which they were supposed to. It took a very long time to be seen as well and I never received a call back to the messages I left.

I first saw Dr R because my regular Oncologist was ill. It was to be the last of my 6 month follow-up appointments after my initial breast cancer diagnosis (stage IIB) in 2017. He was so thorough and decided to run tumor markers no other Onc had run before. In doing so he discovered liver metastasis *months* before they would’ve been found otherwise. I had zero symptoms. I felt perfectly well. Since Dx I’ve switched to him. He’s extremely caring. He makes certain we understand my condition and his recommendations. He listens well and I feel like he hears me. We never feel rushed in appointments. I’d recommend him to anyone in the unfortunate situation of needing an oncologist.
