Dr. Susana Lapid, MD

The doctor had poor bedside manner. She did not take the time to listen to me without interruption. She didn’t listen completely and intently or show genuine interest. She lacks compassion, empathy and support. I won’t be returning.

I visited Dr. Lapid as a first time patient for an annual physical. During the physical she asked me questions and I answered them. She also asked if I had any concerns and I had one. I was billed $280 because they said that when I asked her a question responding to her initiating "other concerns" that it fell outside a physical wellness visit. So I guess I should of just stared at her when she was asking me all the questions and not responded when she asked me if I had other concerns. Horrible! They do not care for patients anymore, just all about what they can bill you.

I visit Dr. Lapid for annual wellness visits and the occassional illness. She's very thorough and communcates well. I feel safe and comfortable in her office. Her practice is very efficient.

Dr. Lapid has been very attentive to the changes I've had since passing the 70's milestone. She listens and is very thorough. I'm not crazy about the phone service into that office building. Have had to "hold" and wait more minutes than I got to speak to a human.

Dissapointed in their billing structure, I been patient with her for years they marked me down as new patient and wellness charges. when I told them from beginning my reason for visit is only Physical Exam wish my insurance covers at 100% but I was billed for office visit and other things not.

I am a former patient of Dr. Lapid. During my time as her patient, I allowed myself to get over the fact that she would barely let me speak long enough to explain my symptoms, what I had difficulty getting over was the fact that she gave me a medication that caused me to bleed for about five days because she thought that it would help me with the spotting I was experiencing. She then told me to go to the emergency room as I had 1/2 the blood my body should have left. Needed a blood transfusion.

Came 1 hr. Late to appointment and when she finally arrived broke the speed of sound to get it over w/o attending to any of my needs or questions. This was my 1st and last appointment.

Finally met a doctor that cares and listens. Dr. Lapid never over books appointments, I always had seen her when scheduled. I never felt rushed thru the appointment because the waiting room was filled woth patients or she was running behind schedule. Never seen her running behing the schedule anyway. While the office is inside an older building, I never questioned the cleanness of the rooms.
