Dr. Sushanth Reddy was kind enough to call me regarding my mother's condition and the appointment with him. He was professional about the diagnosis and we discussed various differentials. Although the likelihood of HCC is strong he explained to me the possibility of the liver lesions being secondaries from elsewhere. Dr. Reddy outlined the investigative plan including CTTAP, tumour markers and possibly a PET scan. My mother felt at ease during the initial consult with Dr. Reddy.

Dr. Reddy performed whipple surgery on me after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in Oct. 2014. Thanks to Dr. Reddy and his staff, I am now 5 1/2 years post pancreatic surgery. Such a very small percentage live to the 5 year mark. He is a wonderful doctor and I feel blessed everyday that I have had these 5 years and feel I owe it all to Dr. Reddy and his staff.

Made family member get surgery for no good reason other than to make money. Never explained possible complications of removing part of pancreas that were not cancer. Never warned us about potential complications. Sure enough, he got Ileus and was at UAB for 3 weeks and got C Diff from being the hospital. After he got home he could not eat for many months and he had to get a feeding tube while he still had c diff. When he got the C diff UAB kicked him out of the hospital even though he needed to stay a couple days. A couple months later the C diff progressed and killed out family member. UAB GAVE OUR LOVED ONE C DIFF AND IT WAS BECAUSE DR. REDDY MADE HIM HAVE A NOT NEEDED SURGREY. STAY AWAY FROM DR. REDDY AND UAB!!!
