Complete proximal hamstring avulsion with 5cm retraction. Fast response to referral Offered an OR date within the week.Very tolerant of my anxiety that results from being a surgeon myself. Surgical scheduler, PA and Bella were amazing.

Dr Miller is amazing.
She is seeing me for knee pain and helping continue to be active without knee replacement. I did not get this with other providers.

Hamstring Rupture and Repair
I completely ruptured my hamstring with two weeks left in my training for my first Ironman event. To say I was in an incredible amount of pain and emotionally distraught is an understatement. From my first appointment with Julie, Dr. Miller’s PA, I knew I was In good hands towards the long road to recovery.. hamstring repair is a rare surgery and Dr. Miller has perfected it. She also relates well to the mental state of athletes frustrated with the recovery process. After a very long, terrible recovery couch bound for 7 weeks, I am now back on my bike, running and swimming with only a tiny hardly visible scar to show for it. They are prompt in returning calls and messages, never late for appointment times. I can’t recommend Dr. Miller and her staff enough!

Positive Review - as usual for BBJI docs :)
Only an initial visit. Excellent so far though. Loved her bedside manner. I am noticing a common theme with all the BBJI docs. They are all very down to earth, humble, and willing to listen to the patient. I love that about this practice. Doctor Kwon, Doctor Ghobrial and now Doctor Miller. Love them all so far. Hope I am healthy and don't need them anymore, but I am so very impressed with this practice and every single PA, MA and reception person.

Rotator cuff repair
Dr Miller is a fantastic surgeon and an even better person. She replaced my wife’s shoulder 12 years ago with an excellent result. When I tore my rotator I knew who I wanted to treat it. 4 months post-surgery I’ve been released to activities I thought were a year away! Thanks to Dr Miller and a marvelous PT (Liz Simms @ Redpoint) I’m looking forward to a resumption of my life. Highly recommend Dr Miller and the professionals at BBJI.

Competent and thorough
I ruptured my proximal hamstring. She reviewed the MRI with me, explained options. Surgery went well with awesome outcome thus far (4 mo post). She is hands on during follow-ups to assess the tendons, strength and efficiency. Dr miller is very friendly, never rushed and asks the patient many questions. Would recommend her100%.

Great experience
Great experience! Dr. Miller is very easy to talk to and understand. She exudes competence, sincerity and empathy. Her team is phenomenal to work with. They made everything go quickly and smoothly. The follow-up instructions and calls have been great. I received a call from the surgical facility and Dr. Miller's office the day after the procedure, they went through the whole experience, explained my whole convalescence program and answered all my questions.Once I’m done… I hope I never see them again (at MY age) - never, ever! They were LOVELY and said, ' the feelings are mutual !!'

Dr. Miller and her team were exceptional.
Dr. Miller and her team exhibited an affable and pleasant patient experience; were professional and articulate in presenting medical advice; generally interested in patient satisfaction and outcomes; dedicated in the post-operative follow up. I had a complicated hamstring and tendon tear, and my outcome was marvelous, beyond what I was informed by other patient who had encountered similar difficulties while undergoing PT: walking without crutches after 3 weeks, without the assistance of a cane. I started PT around six weeks after surgery and my PT specialist commented after six weeks of physical therapy that that he was generally surprised by my progress for my age. After 12 weeks following surgery, I feel like I am ahead of schedule, as I am driving independently and now riding a bicycle –– which was I was informed months ago that I would not be seeing the seat of a bicycle until late fall. Dr. Miller’s team is a reflection of her excellence.

Proximal Hamstring Rupture - Outstanding Outcome
Dr. Miller is an Extremely capable and confident doctor with an outstanding bedside manner. From initial consult to my final follow-up visit the communication, service, and expertise provided was top notch. Dr. Miller surgically repaired my proximal hamstring rupture, which was a total success. The flow, staff, and process at Dr. Miller’s office and surgical center was that of a well oiled machine, which was reflected in the experience and outcome. As an added bonus, the average wait time to be seen, across my six appointments, was about 5 minutes…unprecedented.

Dr Miller is a great surgeon. What really stands out for me is that she will always try to avoid surgery by using other treatments that are much less invasive. She will offer treatments on the same day you see her for evaluation if it will help. Dr Miller is the best!

2 hamstring ruptures and a rotator cuff surgery – Aug 09, 2023

Horrible doctor
This doctor was the absolute worst. During my appointment, she was extremely rude. She aggressively twisted my anatomy during the exam and I left worse off. She told me to schedule a follow up appointment just to charge the insurance company. I would NOT recommend this doctor to anyone. It will be a grave mistake and a total waste of not only a patient's time and energy, but also a waste of the insurance company's money. The assistant in the room stood idly at the side quietly while this doctor was so blatantly rude and mean during my appointment. It is a shame how horribly some doctors treat patients. And at the end, patients are paying.
