Owed more than we should have
Dr. Shah has seen my husband for years, and he has been an excellent, caring doctor. However, we have had multiple issues with the office concerning referrals, prescriptions, and timely paperwork. The latest issue is that we were not made aware that there was no pre-authorization in place before his visit, so he owed much more than the copy. I spoke with the local billing office and the regional billing office, and they refused to adjust the bill to reflect the copay amount. Although the office has proven difficult and unjust to work with, he will continue to see Dr. Shah because he is an skillful doctor.

Dr Shah has been my cardiologist for almost 18 years. He has always taken time to talk and answer any questions. I was very lucky to have him assigned to my case so many years ago, and will continue to follow his practice.

Sometimes doctors think themselves all wise, like Dr. Shah, but are unwilling to do some tests to find the problem. I've called, emailed and waited on results and some kind of feeling that they care about my plight, but to no avail. I would recommend only to someone with a definite heart problem that is already diagnosed.
