Dr. Tami Bruce, MD

I have only had positive experiences with Dr. Bruce over the past 15 years. She always listens to what I have to say and credits me with intelligence and common sense! Concerns are taken seriously and further appointments or specialist appointments are suggested as necessary. Worth the drive from Chandler to receive this level of care.

I was in for my an annual well-care visit. FYI, haven't been to docs for a very long time...if it ain't broke theory! Saw Dr. Bruce once last summer and was fine coming in for this simply because everyone on staff is friendly, caring and nonjudgmental. She went through all of the 'stuff' on her list, but really listened when I told her that I'd been struggling with sciatica for three+ weeks. Some docs seem to feel threatened when a patient has info from google re: any condition, but Tami respected what I knew and how I was working on helping myself with exercises and an occasional Alleve. Dr. Bruce is a calm, very experienced and wise care giver.

EXTREMELY humiliating after I had a medical ‘episode’ upon leaving the facility. Dr Bruce wouldn’t listen to my husband, when he brought up this exact medical problem that was getting progressively worse. Instead, she insisted we needed to make a separate appoint to discuss it. This concerning medical problem happened while we were leaving she handled it as if I was the main attraction at a student assistant nursing seminar, speaking loudly about what the problem WASN’T & what she felt it WAS. Each time another nurse stepped into the crowded examining room she loudly repeated everything over & over & over. And loudly asking me the same questions repeatedly! I was embarrassed it happened & now it turned into humiliation. Although, at first, my husband was glad it happened after she dismissed his concerns regarding this medical problem. I did as she suggested & was seen the next day by our heart specialist. Bringing the test results with me as she instructed.

Dr. Bruce was extremely thorough and touched on every issue my mother had. She addressed every concern and set her up with all the necessary tests and follow ups. It is very nice having a well established PCP who will be there to continue her care.

I have been seeing Dr Bruce for about 20 years and I'm very happy with her. She really takes the time to listen to any concerns or issues I have. I never feel rushed.

I am so incredibly grateful for Dr. Bruce. She not only provides excellent care for my daughter , but also helps me be a better advocate for her as well. She is straight to the point, no sugar coating while still showing great care and compassion for her patients.

So rude! Annoyed with questions. Doesn’t explain test results. Bashed our last doctor, whom she worked with for 20+ years. We will never see her again.

Tami is cold, uncaring, doesn't seem to listen and wants it her way or no way. I no longer see her.

Dr. Bruce is a decent doctor. However, she is cold and has little bedside manner. She rushes in and out. I would not recommend here if you are looking for warm and fuzzy. Nor would I recommend her if you are looking for someone that will communicate with you, care about your health, and take your needs and welfare into consideration.

Tami is a through doctor, but it is her way or the highway. She is not a good listener, nor does she care that a certain medication might bankrupt you. She is not very friendly....too stern.

I have been a patient of Dr Bruce for 10 years. She is the only one of my few other Dr.s that I have stayed with. She listens to me, reviews her records on me and will tell me if my assumptions about a problem are valid or not.
