I've had a couple of doctors visits with Dr. Terry Chen. I really like her. I used to work in the health field too and I see that she is very diligent and conscientious in providing good care. She clearly wanted to understand my conditions, and she asked me many questions so she could document my treatment well . She tries to keep appointments running on time so I did not have to wait long. I come early so I am ready for the appointments and I think she and her assistant appreciates that.

I went in to see her thinking I had shingles (turns out the rash was an allergic reaction) but she didn't want to see my rash . . . she was very rushed, told me she only had a few minutes and kept looking at her computer. When I asked, 'do you want to see my rash' she didn't respond, just kept looking at her computer. Very odd. Won't be seeing her again.

Dr. Terry Chen DO., is an excellent physician. She is very thorough in her diagnosis and does not prescribe unnecessary medications. Office is very clean. All staff is friendly and courteous and always one by name. I needed to get an earlier appointment, and the staff called me with a cancellation, which enabled me to go in the next morning. This was very helpful to me. I recommend t.his office at 2 James Way, suite 209, Pismo Beach, Ca., very highly.

I have had a hard time finding a doctor in this area. If I liked the doctor then the staff was horrible. Well I have found a wonderful doctor she listens to you takes her time and you feel like she really cares! I would recommend Dr Chen to anyone because she is a competent doctor! Please stay in this area because we need doctors like you! Thank you, Kandra
