Dr. Thang Dang, MD

I took my daughter to the North Canton Mercy Urgent Care for her wrist. “Dr” Dang was in the room for about 5-10 seconds. He was very dismissive and didn’t even examine her wrist. Asked if she could move her elbow and shoulder, she said, “Yes, but it hurts to move my wrist.” His response was, “I didn’t ask you if you could move your wrist.” I have no clue how he is still a doctor. I took her there because it was 6:30p, they were open until 9p, and Aultman North closed at 7:30p. I didn’t want anyone to be rushed before closing.

My son went to stat care where he was working, for extremely HBP. The dr did he doesn't know why anyone would go for that...there's nothing that they can do for him...what?!?!?! His nurse basically goffed at him after telling her what he ate that day... Said too much salt. Then said follow up with your doctor. Did I mention it was almost closing time at stat care? HBP is a serious condition and could result in stroke or HA. My son is also fully vaccinated for fully COVID 19 and A healthy 30year old man. He was also accompanied by his wife whom is a full fledged nurse, who politely told the doctor that she works at a hospital and they don't take HBP lightly. I suppose if it was life threatening, he may have said something. His blood pressure had come down but was still in the hypertension range. I wouldn't recommend seeing this doctor 7nless it's the last one available. Very unprofessional and uncaring in my opinion.

Went to statcare for urinary infection, waited in line for 40mins, and waited in the room for 25mins then this doctor came in without knocking and literally just said “you have UTI. Does your back hurt?” I said, no. Then he just said “okay i’ll give you antibiotics.” and left. He didn’t even do physical exam nor check my back if my kidneys are affected. He was in the room for only 30secs. He has ZERO BEDSIDE MANNER. I don’t know how this guy got his degree and license. Avoid him at all cost!!!!

They kicked me out of the network because I missed an appointment due to a house fire. No compassion. Go somewhere where the focus is on the patient rather than the books.

When my daughter was about 5 yrs old..we took her to Mercy Statcare in New Philadelphia..he prescribed a Slack for her with the same dosage as for an adult..she ended up throwing up after taking the first 2.other times I have went to him and he doesn't listen to what you tell him..does not seem to care to help and he is abrasive and rude.

Best Doctor I have ever had experience with at any Urgentcare.

this "doctor" is extremely rude and short, lacking any bedside manner. he's a pretentious know it all. after my experience with him, I've decided he's probably fallen short of the child prodigy he was supposed to be and is now bitter living with his real self.

Went to see this doctor today with a terrible sore throat that had gone on a few days had a white left tonsil he looked at me for a few seconds accused me of being pregnant and said the spot on my throat was drainage from previous vomiting the night before after being told th spot had been there for days. He sent me home told me to let it run it’s course and take some pain pills. At home now throat is terrible and my fever keeps rising

This doctor is terrible. If you want to waste your time and money, go to him. When I arrived, I had swollen tonsils and white patches all over my throat with a rising fever. I had been sick for over a week. He looked in my throat for maybe 2 seconds, said I was fine and sent me home with over the counter cough syrup. He clearly has no care for patients at all. Within hours I had a fever of 103 and went to another doctor to quickly find I had tonsillitis. He is a disgrace to his patients (o/5).
