Dr. Theodor Asgeirsson, MD

It was my first surgery in 70 years. He is a gifted and kind surgeon. He answered all my questions and I never had any pain or comp.ications from my surgery. We are very fortunate to have a doctor of his caliber in Grand Rapids.

When I went to see the Dr.Asgeirsson it was because I had a prolapsed TVM.. which caused some issues rectally and also I almost lost my leg from the hip down. It was by God's grace and I met Dr Asgeirsson. There is no other doctor on this Earth that his impressed me more than he has. He has a stellar staff! He explains in detail anything you need to know and is open to questions. And although this man is a busy schedule he will sit there and listen and explain to you as long as you need him without feeling like he's on a time crunch. I owe this man my entire life! Because without him I would have lost mine. I could never speak highly enough of Dr. Asgeirsson. He is truly the culmination of what it is to take an oath and keep it! May God keep Dr. Asgeirsson and his beloved family blessed all the days of their lives. It was because of you that I was able to meet my granddaughter and for that I will always be in your debt! Thank you so much!

Dr. Asgeirsson helped me during one of the scariest times for me. His care before, during and after surgery gave me a new life from the very sick place I was before. He is kind, compassionate and understanding. He treated me well and like a real person with a good heart. Always will be thankful for his care. He is very good at what he does. Thank you for taking wonderful care when other places could not.

Dr. Asgeirsson is VERY good at what he does. He listens to me, answers my questions fully, never makes me feel rushed. Whenever I see him I feel like I am his most important patient. I hear he makes all of his patients feel that way. :-) He has tackled and succeeded in treating difficult health problems for me. His office staff & nurses have all been kind and helpful. #1 Best Surgeon -- there should be more than 5 stars for a doctor who is this good and this caring.

Was referred to Dr. Asgeirsson by another doctor for a complicated issue. It took 3 weeks to get in because there aren't many of his type of specialist in the area. The wait was worth it. He took the time to go through every aspect of the issue, ask questions, develop a treatment plan, order tests and medication, and schedule follow up. He was direct but thorough and seemed to genuinely care about my issues and health. Highly recommend.

Dr. A. is a very caring doctor that is genuinely concerned with me as a person, and not just business as usual as a patient. My Surgery was very well explained to me before and the results after, and his follow up was also great. Rectal surgery is not top on my favorites list, but it was needed, and I was glad I had Dr. A. to help me through.
