Dr. Thomas Jantos, MD

I was in Lake Tahoe on vacation last year when my fiancé was diagnosed with a brain tumor. We are from from NY and were far away from friend/family. Dr. Jantos told me my fiancé had a malignant tumor and asked if I understood what that meant, but then said that he couldn't read the scan and was waiting for a radiologist to confirm. My fiancé was transferred to another hospital that could better handle the case, and here we were told this was NOT a cancerous mass but of course surgery/treatment was needed when we returned to NY. The entire situation was extremely traumatic for both parties involved, and Dr. Jantos stating it was malignant was an extra stressor that wasn't necessary in the situation. My recommendation to Dr. Jantos in the future would be to try harder to understand the position of the family and patient and not throw out terms unless he is positive of the diagnosis.

Saw Dr. Jantos, in the E.R. He was professional, funny , great bedside manner. He did an Outstanding job setting my dislocated toe !! Thank You Dr. Jantos

Excellent care with a great sense of humour...definitely recommend if you’re in need of a doctor.

This guy was extremely helpful and super friendly. Not very often you meet Dr.'s like this guy. Highly recommend him if you ever have to go to ER.
